Must be extra time and penalties, which is why games without floodlights kick off at 18:45.

I'm not sure about the extra time bit of it. Sunset is 2101. That would seem to preclude the extra time element.

Linlithgow Rose have won 20 Scottish Cup games, which I would guess might be the most of the current EoS clubs.

In total they've played 34 matches in 10 appearances, with (obviously) 10 defeats and 4 draws.

20 out of 34 not a bad win record at all. Almost 60% win rate. Well done LR

The SFA website with dates of the rounds has been updated today to include the words "The preliminary round draw will take place on Thursday, 12 August"

I'm told the SFA intranet has been temperamental today... every time i look its the same old stuff

In all just over 22,000 have attended

    and

league and the 2 cup games so far this season. Hard to imagine this a few months ago.

    They have seen: 178 games

    656 goals

    326 at home 330 away

    72 home wins

    25 draws

    81 away wins

wonder how many out of the 22,000 have actually paid.  if nobody can say definitively then what?

for the games that everyone knows will have the 200/250 gross attendance , the 15% will be in as guests/committee/match day persons.

for the games with lower attendace figures of around 60,,, the same 20/30 guests/ committee/ match day persons then equates to 40 or 50% of the attendance.

i think definition and clarity has to be debated, otherwise the data is flawed and information reduced and the accuracy isnt worth too much.

Not sure what rule change you are on about, certainly no changes at this level. Only when there is VAR in use does an assistant delay their flag if it's a tight decision and the attacker is going towards goal, so that if there is a goal scored the offside decision can be checked. Nothing worse than onside goal being flagged offside when there's VAR available to check it...

As for the decision in this game, it does look like the player is offside - however the camera is about 5m ahead of the last defender and as we've seen in the age of VAR and hawkeye, camera angles can be deceiving so it's maybe not as far offside as it looks. The assistant seems to be in line with the last defender at least.

    aye right

Ha Ha seen the (real ale) groundhopper argue over the goal times etc, carry enough train timetables to circle the earth, miss goals in the last 10 mins due to train times. When you see them desperate for team sheets etc you know they've lost it ! I just enjoy the games, the grounds, the people, and move onto the next place/game. Groundtastic an excellent mag over the years, Football Traveller another one. Non League Scotland a brilliant source of info for many years 👏

It's almost like a Question of Sport or Mastermind where they have so many facts & figures, trying to outdo each other. I just enjoy visiting Scotland, enjoying the games and grounds. A couple of pints adds to the day, as I know most clubs are run by volunteers I couldn't give 2 monkeys if they do a programme, I know it's hard work. I will try to do some LL and EOS next time, interesting people and places await.

your're far too sensible for these pages,,,,,,,,,

Its the London Road Foundry Bowling Club, a foundry (Miller & Co) who were based in london Road, Abbeyhill., but probably due to lack of space to built a bowling green  in the area, probably  had to relocate the club to the Porty area.  Hillside BC never had London Road in its address, Brunton Place.

Aye Brunton Place, Continuation of Leopold Place. Most folks seem unaware that London Road basically starts at Easter Road. The anonomaly is Gardeners Cottage

Did you ever go to Ballingry Rovers ground? It’s three villages away from the place. Lochores ground was nearer to Ballingry.

😄😄 I know some bowling clubs with similar oddities. London Rd bowling club in Edin is nowhere near London Rd,,,,, its in Porty. However there is a bowling club in London Road - but its called Hillside, Confusing or what??

Excellent stuff to see so many clubs obtain their licences after working hard, some things ain't cheap and there is always opposition to floodlights etc. All over a benefit to us fans with better facilities, let's use them in good numbers. Can't wait to return North in October, I hope.

    October....... wrap up well

Shocker of a decision by the linesman but you do have to question what the keeper is doing.

Personally Ifind the offside rule changes a bit frustrating - - - waiting until the ball is out of action. Why?? If its clearly offside, stop the play. I'm struggling to find any benefits, but lots of issues associated to this rule change.
