Clarke would be a great signing on a lot of levels lmao
Make it happen please

Seems very harsh on partick and falkirk. Would have made more sense for the wee clubs like alloa and morton mothballing until fans are allowed back and well run, full time clubs promoted to take their place.
surprised so many clubs thought fans would be back this season. Madness!!

tinpot club still doing tinpot things

if we can't get Mcmullen from the dab's this window we need to get more pace into the team. Has Mcpake said if he is trying to get players in during this window?
A new manager would be ideal but if he's still here after that embarrassment on saturday i fear we are stuck with the idiot for the rest of the season.

good to see whighton looks to have got his career back on traack. I was hoping he would return to dens but neilson is giving him a chance at hearts. I know a lot of people were writing him off and thought he was heading for part time football!
I'm sure he will be back someday, hopefully when we are in the spl

I like the sound of petrie at montrose the more i read about him.
young ambitious manager could maybe have the hartley effect (forgot how it ended) rather than going for one of the tired old faces!!

Don't want to see anybody lose their job, ideal scenario would be McPake holds his hands up, for the good of the club, and says I'm going back to the youths, jumped in far too soon. Will learn and come back.
Well said
The club have given a lot to James over the years, it is time for him to admit his limitations and exit with dignity stage left to allow Dundee to appoint a proper manager.

Don't think Wright or Levein would be interested so failing that out of the names mentioned John Hughes.
A legend at falkirk and ICT and has won this league before. Would inspire the players more than McPake who has all the personality of a jacket potato without any toppings.
I think a job like Dundee would be too early for crawford but i was impressed by the pars last night

Another week of reading the team sheet through my fingers

Having watched the Dunfermline v Hearts match, there is no way we are finishing in the top 2 with McPake in charge (will be lucky to make top 4!).
Dunfermline looked assured, inspired, like they had a game plan and the players all knew what they were supposed to be doing. Their attacking players looked dangerous throughout.
Let's hope Nelms pulls the trigger before it is too late!!

If McPake goes after this it will be time to open one of my finest malts!!

Great forum btw!!

Feels horrible to say as a dee but i would take a defeat on Saturday if it got rid of McPake
We have no chance of winning the league, the sooner we get in a proper manager the more chance we have of fluking the playoffs or at least it will give us more time to build a decent side to win the title next season
Come 3pm i will want a dundee win but i also know sticking with the status quo will be detrimental in the long term!
It's a sad state of affairs!!

Don’t think I’ve met one fan who want to keep McPake. He wasn’t even that good a player. Bang average. You've not read cobra on the dark blues!
happy to see most dees on the same page.

lol this is definitely a banana skin!
We should be winning here by three or four but think we will just eeek out a 1-0 win.

Cant believe there are some Dees happy to keep McPake on. Yes he was a good player for us but that shouldn't mean we are blindly loyal to him when he is not up to the job. Its heartbreaking to see the club I have supported for so long heading in only one direction.
Change it now Nelms!!

2-0 to the dees
ayr will be hoping for the same luck they had at their place earlier in the season but even with mcpake in charge we should be too strong, with charlie pulling the strings!
