I don’t think anyone has came close to standing out, over the whole season.
We have had influential players for a few months at a time, but nothing that lasted. We have lacked a real captain on the park for years, apart from McGowans wee tantrums, everyone looks placid.

I think myself, you and @RossDee01 are just going to have to agree to disagree on this one.
I personally don't think he needs to run much, this has never been his type of game. I think his positional intelligence means he doesn't have to.
Granted he has been off the boil since his Covid/Mother passing and the 442 doesn't quite work out for him, but I can't agree that he has nothing left to give.

He takes every set piece, so is involved, and we get nothing, so his contribution is zero. I might be setting myself up here, but when was his last assist?
His positional intelligence seems to be to slowly jog about the centre circle, then pass the ball to the opposition. I’d love to see individual stats on our players, his stats today would have been shocking.

He didn’t try many long passes today, but he did miss plenty of short easy passes. The rest of the team can run and contribute, Adam can’t.
Far too many people look at the name on the shirt, and not the actual performance. He should not be in the team.

I’d recommend watching Adam when he has the ball, he completes less than a third of his passes I’d guess.

Allowing Adam to stand and do nothing is why we weren’t in the playoffs, we dropped him and actually played as a team, and improved.
It McPake has any idea of what to do, he must drop Adam again, and get the team to compete again.
