  1. I don't have the details but hear young Barron is out for the rest of the season.

I sincerely hope it's not long term serious as he's arguably been our best player all season.

In these dire times at the club let's not let him drift away without a word of thanks from the support.

Energy, vision and a great touch and shot. We have needed more of his ilk.

Sadly he couldn't save us on his own.

My defeatist attitude is showing 😕

  2. Have a listen to Carter USM's song My Defeatist Attitude off the Worry Bomb album.

Seems to fit the mood of the meeting.

    It will cheer you up.😕

Roll on the games we can/should,  and need to, win.

The 🐘 will be in The Hedge until January then.

It's looking forward to tomorrow's game through its toenails.

At least it's been allowed into the park.

  4. Outplayed today. Not a pretty watch.

Well, that's the dress rehearsal over and we're in It'll be Alright on the Night territory. Hopefully in the theatrical sense, not the Denis Norden version.

The elephant has left the board room, dressing room or the managers office, take your pick, has painted it's toenails red and white and is hiding in The Hedge to watch the rest of the season.

Let's just continue to allow poor decisions go unchallenged.  Thinking like that is exactly why we are where we are right now.

Your opinion is as valid as mine. Both are subjective. 🐘

    Let's not disagree on that.

  6. We (Brechin City) are where we are . So let's move on and avoid recriminations. Be that players, manager or board.

I refer you to the elephant I mentioned earlier and offer the parable of the blind men and the elephant.

"Each blind man feels a different part of the elephant's body, but only one part, such as the side or the tusk. They then describe the elephant based on their limited experience and their descriptions of the elephant are different from each other. In some versions, they come to suspect that the other person is dishonest and they come to blows. The moral of the parable is that humans have a tendency to claim absolute truth based on their limited, subjective experience as they ignore other people's limited, subjective experiences which may be equally true."
