They also moved into a new stadium in 1997. These aren't the actions of a club who have been "blocking places for ambitious clubs for decades".
No they didnt. I'll let you google when they actually moved.
They also only moved as the only thing that saved them from being liquidated was the council buying their ground and then flogging it for housing* and then building them a new stadium next to the lcoal sewage works. Its a club that has spent more than half of its time in the Scottish League system in the bottom division - they are the very definiton of a blocking club.
*- with the main stand being condemmed and mostly torn down long before the move and squeezing money from their investment by putting down the worst pitch I ever played on.

Holt would no doubt crawl over broken glass to leave seaside league perennial Falkirk for a big team.

You have absolutely no idea what has gone on at Cowden (for example) or any other League Club
I know they and their like (Stirling Albion, Albion Rovers, Stenhousemuir) have been blocking places for ambitious clubs for decades. Time to flush the floaters out of the National structure and let them find their true place in the local leagues.

Its the same Roy Keane that was one of the best midfielders in the world. I feel comfortable saying he's a better judge of a player than you.
Based on his managerial record I'd say Mollie Sugden was a better judge of a player than him.

Bankrupting yourselves whilst still inevitibly being relegated to the Highland League, delicious.

Was at a conference once where former Alloa/Hamilton/Partick player and former Stenhousemuir manager Brown Ferguson was blah blahing about being CEO of Triathlon in Scotland.

when it gets to that stage its time for junior football to call it a day at least till March
I'm sure the East and North Junior leagues will make their own call - not sure what its got to do with Darvel though.

You come across as a typical Junior thicko who is so bitter and angry at other clubs success that you continually make a complete and utter fool of yourself.

Colour me shocked.
Is there any club in Scotland that just screams 'unionist' more than 'Queen of the South'?
Sevco, Hearts, Airdrie, Cowdenbeath, Stirling are all bastians of the Union.

Yep, the pyramid is still finding it's way. Give it 2 or 3 seasons and the cream will rise to the top, as they say. There's clearly teams in the league below other teams who are far better from L2 down. Brechin City being the shining example. They're no where near good enough to be as high as tier 4.
Guarantee you after their humiliation today Brechin will already be onto the SFA/SPFL to have the season cancelled so they dont get relegated. They should have gone down last season but somehow this club continually hang on to an SPFL place.
No club that has finished bottom the Scottish League structure a staggering 13 times in less than 100 years should be anywhere near the national league. Time for them to embrace their future as Highland League jobbers.

Think there's about to be a bombshell dropped by the club, watch this space...
Losing to Juniors should see the club fold this evening, an embarrasement to Senior football.

While I wouldn't rule out the fact that one bad season could see that happen, I like to think our natural home is in League One as opposed to the Lowland League.
What a riddy.
Your piss poor club has spent half its life in the Scottish League in the bottom division, you are a bottom tier club. Sooner bed blockers like the Albion are playing their trade in the non-league the better for Scottish football.

Looked it up and they were bottom of the Championship by 14 points.
Aye, what an honour that was. This is their 8th season out of 9 in the bottom league and in that time they have finished in the play off spots twice. Time is thankfully ticking for this franchise outfit, soon they'll be playing where they should be in the non-leagues.
