  1. Bottom line DY had resources and a good squad, failed to maximise either. So content to let him go.
TBH don't get the "careful what you ask for" routine, too many caught up in the DY appriciation society.
DY flattered to deceive IMO. We have all been at games where you can see the opposition getting a head off steam up before they score, DY does nothing to address that then when enevitable happens, DY throws arms in air, kicks the water bottle and turns to the fans with an angry face as to blame everyone else.
You never know we might get a manager that improves the goals lost at corners statistics that DY has never managed to address.

His contract is up for renewal but be careful what you wish for you would expect Patrick, Falkirk, Airdrie and Cove to be in top half as 3 of them full time and all will have a much larger budget than Darren. Montrose punching above their weight getting in top 5 but we only lost out by one goal. That’s not saying that some players have had their time and a good fresh up of the squad is required.
  2. Big game for DY, team selection, tactics and ability to get best out of a good group of players under scrutiny tomorrow. Should be very few players guaranteed a start as there no point having a squad if you are not going to given others a chance. Fingers crossed he has a game plan to win game and not go with same old same old.

  3. Agree 100%
You can see opposition applying pressure and its only matter of time before they score. Eventually they score, what does DY do.... Waits for them to score then kicks the water bottle and throw hands up in the air.

It's long been a trait of this manager, that when things start to go wrong, either during games, or during runs, he doesn't seem to be able to change things.
We'll probably win against Forfar next week, and everything will be rosey again for another week or two, but I'm starting to detect patience wearing thin amongst our support?
