Jacobs was fit towards the end of last season so had time for the extra rest and get himself in top condition for the new season starting. With all the games he played last season he was never up to speed and always looked miles off it and that’s exactly the same this season so far. He’s had bad injuries in his career and it looks like as he’s not cut out for this level anymore. Seems like he’s been signed on again for the type of guy he is in the background I’d say as for turan he’s purely a centre forward possibly drop him behind the striker centrally but that’s at a push

Never expected to win today but thought we’d be competitive but that was woeful. Nightmares of last season with how wide open we are in central midfield meaning our back 4 exposed massively and picking up bookings. we've known since about February/ march hammy was fucked so why are we know in august still got no actual left back cover worrying about this. Management know key positions we need yet do much about this. yes we’ve signed strikers but still massively limited in wide positions and of course left back

Thought today's team should have played Wednesday and Wednesdays team today. desperately need a left back just feel bad now for Stewart playing there so unfair on him. mcintosh needs to be the lone striker if we play that formation. had optimism after Dundee game but after them 2 games that’s all gone

Don’t think turan was great last night he looks like a striker that will get about 3 goals a season no have many chances at all. Fine link up player with a nice touch that’s about it. If we play 2 up it has to be LM and bird but then that means McKenna is out of position which totally nullifies him he’s by far best behind the striker

If we are going that defensive against cowden at home what we going to be like on Saturday away to st Mirren that was a really rough watch. wrong team selection with no width. Stowe should of started to at least have one winger running at the defence. allan and McKenna are not a central midfield pairing. Allan either needs to be the 10 or play in a midfield 3. stewart is so uncomfortable at LB he’s so right footed it’s unreal. Gold be much more suited there. positve? Slater got minutes and Stowe looked lively. Thought mcintosh done well too. f**k me we are rubbish at penalties

I’d personally like cover as we are already thin in wide areas and Stewart covering fullback weakens that even more

Hancock the new Hester or something? am I missing something? he wasn’t very good for us and has been injured since November with an ACL injury who says he’s even fit? Btw Hester is a decent player just like the new fascination with bringing an ex player back

We need to sign a left sided defender absolutely even on a 6 month loan. Stewart is fine to fill in for a game or two but hammys out till September minimum then needs to get back up to speed so add another month on to that say. Squads already thin especially in wide areas when subs were made that night we had no width whatsoever ever

Liked the look of Jess at Brechin hopefully he can be an assist to the team and punt jacobs further down the pecking order

Well after hearing a few more positives posts about Jess ( cm trialist) and new striker trialist along with tob mckenna gold and Stewart being back I'm looking forward the the Dundee game missed today due to working. Another solid performance Tuesday and Saturday from them will likely get them Signed in time for the group games starting soon.

If they are agreeing to travel all the way up here for a trial surely they are interested in signing

I fucking hate us playing 352 tbh. Yes it gets minutes for boys but we aren’t going to play it during the season so surely playing our strongest shape would suit us better. And new players would get used to our usual shape tactics etc
