The table is just starting to show what we all know, which is that there's nothing between most of the teams in the league. We could easily see 4th to 10th flip by the split.
Our tactic of letting the teams around us be shite has backfired. We really should have used the tried and trusted tactic of winning games against the teams below us.0 -

We have found the new market inefficiency, which is to just ride the wave of everyone else being shite. In a few years time we will be in Moneyball 2. My favorite bit will be the backroom staff fielding offers for Lamie and pishing themselves.

St Mirren have signed known quantities. We have made quite a few singings this window but they are unknowns, so we don't know if they're shite yet.

The rumours were that KVV was the replacement for Watt, who GA had allowed to leave in the summer, but for some reason he held out for that big Utd payday. If there was some sort of dislike for the friends of Declan, fair play to GA for continuing to play Watt and Lamie in the meantime. Maybe they played better because they were working their ticket, who knows.
The manager is definitely commiting to his clique busting by signing players who couldn't possibly have payed together, or ever have been in the same country.
I wonder if he's trying to punt Bevis since Goss mentioned they were at Exeter together as kids.1 -
As far as missing sitters goes, and this may be anecdotal, Watt missed way more chances than VV, many of which were easier. However, he was way better at bringing others into the game and making it look like a team sport.

We absolutely need a striker, whether it's to start or be an option on the bench. Rotating wide players isn't going to change a game, and we know that VV is likely to miss his fair share of starts. The Doidge type, or someone who can batter folk would be my preference.

Took the rope a dope tactic a bit too far, but the barrage in the second half of extras was too much for them in the end. Nice to see Donnelly get one after his time out with injury. Tierney looks fun.
Both teams had attacking moments, with us crossing the ball to invisible people, and Morton firing their shot right at Kelly. The ref seemed to give those two morton guys immunity after their bookings, but it thankfully didn't cost us. Carroll and McGinley are the worst at giving up when the ball gets past them, but it still took a good finish from muirhead. I think we might have had a harder time if he had started.
Now to get the hardest possible draw for the next round.0 -

Sick burn. I feel like we lost now.Have to say well done to Motherwell…not just for today but for all their achievements in recent years. To be able to assemble a successful team together whilst based in north Lanarkshire is hugely impressive. An extremely bleak and depressing place, easily in the top two biggest shitholes in Scotland along with Coatbridge (also in north Lanarkshire). Very happy this was behind closed doors todays to I don’t have to visit that fuckhole of a place.
As for Motherwell FC, they’ll be fine as they always are. The SFA will keep them up along with St Mirren as theyre not allowed to show their blatant favouritism towards the auld firm p*****s.
Livi underachieving as always. Martindale full of utter shite and what a cunthole of a starting 11 that was.

The above ratings are interesting, but I thought Forrest was shite. Shinnie nearly caught Kelly out from distance, but kicked it wrong, so it didn't work. Bruce has been touched by Hamilton, so fully expected him to score.

Thought we were pretty comfortable the whole game and deserved the win. I thought we'd be shaky when livi scored, but we saw the game out pretty easily after that.
It was nice to watch the game at the right time of day, and with family. Shite that I couldn't actually be at the game, but I would only have spent it calling Tony Watt names.

My last OF league game was Jamie Dolan day. Nowadays I'm not interested in listening to their shite or dealing with all the other carry on they bring with them.
I also think they should be kept to one stand so that we can keep the damage to a minimum, since a fair number of them don't seem to be house trained.
