  1. "wholehearted" challenge by Kamara that - had it been a Livi player - would have been a yellow
  2. As nobody has started the "what time is Rangers first penalty" thread, I will go for 23rd minute. Thank me later
  3. These were part time diddies, whatever anyone says. We seemed to - again - take our eye off the ball for a bit before they scored and the defending was pish for it..........again. It was almost like they thought "f**k it, we are already thru". Good to see Ross make instant subbies to change it. I will be interested to see how we get on against Motherwell at the weekend before deciding if our European adventure is over for this year.
  4. Hope not - but I hear that another player whos name starts with "Mc...." is getting a medical Friday.
  5. I have been using the Sainsburys / Path route for ages - it suits me if I am driving or if I get off the No5 on London road if there is a drinky involved. To be honest I have never seen anyone policing it..............indeed this is the first time I even knew there was a limit. Finally, even if they do give you a ticket its basically unenforcable in Scotland so wouldnt worry.
  6. Thats up there with Brendan Rodgers insistence on calling him "Browny"................
  7. It will be cheered to the rafters by the "aw these forinners are cheetin basturts" crew tbf, in this case they are right !
  8. I wouldn't play any key players for exactly that reason. It was the most horrible brand of football I have ever seen (since we last played Falkirk, of course).
  9. Was dead unlucky with his header off the post. On another night (decent ref) we would have been about 4 or 5 to the good. Don't think it matters in the tie, the only concern in the second leg is how much damage those Sunday league cloggers will do.
  10. There is no angle that will suggest a red is correct. I will be gobsmacked if it isn't overturned. That won't help us tonight though. Wonder if refs have s look at ht with their cuppa? If so, this boy will be very very embarrassed.
  11. He certainly needs to be playing............I like him, no sure I want to lose him permanently tho.
  12. "Mueller is the latest US international to join Hibs following in the footsteps of Emerson Hyndman and Jonathan Spector"
  13. Bit of chatter that this guy is coming to Hibs (or Rangers, or Celtic, or Aberdeen .......hedging my bets)
  14. Just to make you feel better, there are Hibs fans moaning about the capacity we have been given for the Euro match later tonight...........despite the fact it probably wont sell out anyway as its peak holiday season and loads of people cba going as they cant sit right next to their mates. Back OT, Hibs were only initially given the basic 2000, and had to "work with" the council to get the increase.........it all seems a bit weird, when we all have open air stadia, open access points etc etc. I think the correct answer in all of these situations is usually "the cooncil" who - wherever you live - seem universally clueless and lacking in common sense. Allied to a computer says no attitude, we are all in for a frustrating few months.
  15. Goals in pre season friendly v Raith, plus a few minutes with Ross. Good to see Doidge back on for 20 mins after his Covid
  16. A bit laughable if we get enough money from Porteous sale to bid for Kerr tbh. However, on the wider issue of Kerr and Mccart............I did say yesterday that we had made opening bids and expect them to increase. Whether that goes anywhere is anyones guess.
  17. Life sometimes doesnt feel fair - I have even heard of some clubs that got relegated last year without playing a full season.
  18. Celtic were burned a bit with the John McGinn saga. I wonder if the new regime at Parkhead will be a bit more savvy and not simply assume that Scottish clubs are desperate to accept any old shitey bid? I would hope that he ultimately went down south - in a similar way that St J wouldnt want to sell Kerr and McCart to a rival, I wouldnt really want to see Nisbet playing for them either. He could quite probably get more cash down south as well. I also think that players moving to other countries and experiencing different coaching / players is good for the national team.
  19. Oh, thats not at all what I am saying - a few pages back I mentioned that I felt he would go down south. Just passing on what I had heard.
