Looked like Kev really had to do better there.
Didn't look like he had much chance on the stream. Poor defending, problem of having no centre halves.

Maybe try and support our young players rather than pick faults that are not there and they may get on a bit better and gain more confidence.
Accusing Tx of not supporting young players is some take.

Having a nightmare on uefa site as I tried to pay for my tickets. Thing crashed before I could put details in and I'm now locked out it and it says my order is being updated.
Frantic emails been sent
Same happened for me a couple of times. The order being updated thing seemed to be if I tried it again too quickly or at one point on two screens. Eventually went through and managed to pay on probably the 4th go. Maybe try at a weird time so the server is quieter.

Queens park definitely deserved to go ahead but the changes were brilliant. Helped by Queens totally sitting off but Millen effectively playing as a central midfielder at the end meant the shape of the team didn't just fall apart and Rovers could play football rather than just launch it like they have with previous versions of Murrayball.
Brown was brilliant. Best I have seen him play I think (admittedly small sample size). And Stanton still getting up and down, making tackles in the 97th minute, was understated but excellent again.
Just such a likeable team. Have never been that carried away watching a stream.

Flying in needlessly. Didn't make much contact but really stupid

Very even first half. QP really knock the ball about well and they will definitely get chances in the second half.
Rovers have played well but think they need to get the ball forward quicker and run at them. Would like to see Easton on fairly early. Mullen tidy but not direct enough when playing on the left.

I reckon one, or both of Todorov and O'Hara will be leaving us, wouldn't be shocked if they rocked up at Starks.
I've always thought O'Hara would really suit the way Rovers have been set up the last few seasons. I know he's never really scored the number of goals he should have at the Pars but would have definitely taken him.

The length of contract is immaterial really. What does it matter if it’s 3 or 5 years… or 20 years for that matter? Either he stays fit and keeps playing to a high level and sees out the contract (not unusual for a defender to play until mid 30s) or he retires if he feels like it’s time. Makes no odds really, this is just a way of showing his commitment to the club, and vice versa, and that he wants to finish his career here. Great news imo.
Surely a third option here where he wants to keep playing until his mid 30s but isn't at the level that Arbroath need? Don't get me wrong he is a good player but still seems an odd decision.

Gary Oliver fucking loves a goal against the Pars. I’m sure I counted them at some point last season and something mental like 20%* of his career goals are against us.
*completely random figure, but whatever the correct number is, it’s a ridiculous amount. The very reliable fitbastats.com reckons it is 8 of 27 career goals. Wiki reckons he has 28 league goals so maybe not quite up to date but definitely a big percentage.

Adam Dorrans and Chalmers is a midfield 3 to be be reckoned with IMO

I can't make my mind up if I'd like McGlynn to stay on next season or not. That being said if he does go Ian Murray would be my preference, seems to play good football and has done well at Airdrie. Not sure of his contract situation though/if it is actually realistic.

NRR might give us room to play with but if we can't chase a reverse Ted Rogers to win, then we don't deserve a crack at the big guns. Watching this through the fingers.
Absolutely this. Just knock it off

It is because Oman have batted less overs so their NRR is more negatively affected than Scotland's in a low scoring tight result.
If Oman had scored 124 I dont think this could even be a debate (although I haven't worked that out myself so apologies if thats wrong). Before the games the calculations looked like this:

Oman giving themselves a real chance here but I fully expect a big collapse soon.

I did the research. If everybody supported their local team, as per the OP, Hibs and Hearts would be the gruesome twosome.
And since it might be on-topic for this thread, here's the population of Scotland divvied up by who their nearest league teams are, as far as the postcode database and census can be ascertained (this is a couple of years old, so Brechin is there and Kelty isn't, but that probably doesn't make a huge difference. Edinburgh City moving back to Meadowbank might, though).
Would love to see this plotted on a map. Maybe one day I will learn how to do something like that. Even if there are a few errors in methodology I'm very impressed by the effort gone into this.

I've got John Hartson on comms on the stream that I, erm, stumbled across.
People that can't at least feign neutrality should be nowhere near these jobs.
Not sure he's realised there's a second team in the pitch yet

The squad is clearly a bit light but if JMcG is looking at players down south again then I think contracts tend to expire at end of June so might now start to see a bit of movement on that front.
