    Lanark 2 Kello 0

Played in farcical conditions with a cross field howling gale.  Pitch was in remarkably good nick.

Sorry not to see the big Kello keeper in action today.

Spoke with a boy from Kello recently and he said this will probably be the big keepers final season due to injuries ...

Always had a blinder in games against us over the years ....Hot Shot Hamish with his kicking...

  2. Glasgow United 3

    Kello Rovers 2

    "A game of two halves"

Kello deservedly went 2 up after 25 mins

Utd got one back when Goodwillie finished from an tight angle on 62 mins.

further goals from a Coleman free kick and a Goodwillie penalty before the 70th minute mark put us ahead.

Tight finish with both teams having further chances, best of the bunch a save from our keeper Roche, tipping over a drive from 30 yrds...

Big ask for us for promotion  need to put a good run together which we seem incapable of .....

  3. Ardeer Thistle 4

    Glasgow Utd 5

Fair play to the players who played today in horrendous conditions, surface was like quick sand before kick off and got worse as game went on.

Goodwillie back on the scoresheet with a hat-trick, and debut goals from Cha Henderson and Shvan Nuri got the points in a much needed win after not playing since end of January.

Great to see Ardeer get the local kids involved walking out with the team...👏

The Gow have lost 38 goals in 14 games and lost 7 today in the cup. I'm hoping their defence doesn't all of a sudden decide to tighten up next weekend.

Losing centre back Sam Duncan to St Roch's this week will not help them    probably their best player

Kilsyth well worthy of their victory today. The left winger seemed to be having a field day with United's defence.

    Nice little set up :)

Can't argue with the result, from kick off Kilsyth were on the front foot and unsettled us early with the pace of the number 7,his movement on the wing and cutting inside caused us problems throughout, getting back to 3-2 you are looking to press for the equaliser but never had a sniff and the red card didn't help....frustrating ..

Not a fan of cages ..set up is nice but no Grub on sale ....very poor

  6. Glasgow United 3

    Greenock Juniors 2

3 points was a must with all other league teams on cup duty....

job done but not the best of games... won with ten men(never a red card ),our keeper saved a penalty ,we scored a penalty to make it 2-1 Greenock scored straight after kick off after we switched off and then Goodwillie scored a last minute winner with neat finish....shit game ..but 3 pts....

  7. West Park United 1

    Glasgow United 4

Deserved win yes, performance very flat.

Had chances to win game by more, but combination of greedy play by a few ,some great stops from the West Park Keeper and agonisingly the woodwork keeping the score down.

Goal to win the game came on 90 mins ,Jamie McPhee with a stunning free kick, David Goodwillie added 2 in stoppage time.

  8. Renfrew  vs  Kilsyth Rangers

    St Anthony's  vs  Wishaw

    Yoker Athletic  vs  Greenock Juniors

    Ardeer Thistle  vs  Glasgow University

    Ashfield  vs  Craigmark Burntonians

    Forth Wanderers  vs  Maybole Juniors

    Glasgow United  vs  Glasgow Perthshire

    Maryhill  vs  Muirkirk Juniors

Looking forward to the kick off of what will be a tough league ,I think the 4 Ayrshire teams will be strong in this division ,not seen much of Muirkirk or Craigmark but was impressed with Ardeer last season in both games we played them,so expecting now that  Sean's settled in they will be up there challenging.

New chapter for us at Greenfield ,New coaching team seem to have settled in nicely, squad taking shape and looked decent in warm up games. The excellent work continues at Greenfield football centre with 4 Grass parks all been brought up to a decent standard and being used by teams from all over Glasgow and the west.

Is there any connection between Glasgow WFC who's base is a 2 minute walk away from Shettleston Station?

The above not to be confused with Glasgow City WFC.

If its Glasgow Wfc based at Budhill you mean  then there is no connection, they have shown there support within the community trust and I think they use the facility for younger teams for training and games.
