Lennon absolutely spewing
The reason you’re going out bottom again is because you’re rubbish, not because you’re unlucky.
You misunderstand him; he wants the job back so he’ll be tearing into them to try and put pressure on Rodgers.

Lucky for Hartson that not a living soul respects his opinion because he would have just absolutely torched his reputation by thinking that was a penalty.
He’s biased and not in a funny way - just in a thick mutant way.

Not gonna be much trouble getting away tonight tbh. Can’t imagine it being a hot ticket on a freezing cold night with CL on the telly.

Only got Pars TV a few times during lockdown but it was always watched on mute.
Think it’s a pretty thankless task to do comms for Scottish lower league football tbf.

A free hit? we are in desperate need of points and we are playing against a team who are three points ahead of us who with all due respect were absolutely rank rotten on Friday, its anything but a free hit, we need to go there with a plan to get something out the game.
A free hit in terms of most people will not be expecting Arbroath to get a result midweek without an actual manager in the dugout.
Must add that I fully believe Arbroath could win the match but most bookies will still have us odds on.

Bonnyrigg v Falkirk and Forfar v Hibs should be the first choice TV ties. Airdrie v St Johnstone arguably the most interesting tie
Other than about 20 people on this website, I can’t think of anyone who would consider Airdrie vs St Johnstone even remotely interesting for TV. Only chance that gets picked is if Levein using his influence with the Beeb again.
As for the Bonnyrigg vs Falkirk shout, I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that was a joke.

Would be absolutely amazed if we picked up anything from this.
If we can’t beat a managerless, part-time side at home then we really are in bother.
Three points are essential for us and although we will be favourites, it’s a free hit for Arbroath and our confidence will undoubtedly be low.
Big game on Tuesday and then on Sat vs QP. Need to see a reaction in performances and results.

Last season I don’t think anyone felt Wighton, McCann, Todorov & O’Hara would be a good enough set of forwards for the Championship.
However, I really don’t think that Jakubiak is an improvement on the two we let go over the summer.
Midfield is the bigger issue to solve first though; we will struggle this season if we don’t get better solutions in there.

Virgin mentality right there.
*Very* telling that you considered that to be the worst insult you could think of.

This patter is getting worse and worse with every game you play against us.
Yet you just know someone will bite every single time.

Was watching the City vs Liverpool game earlier and came to the realisation that if we played their keepers in our midfield they would probably fare better than Chalmers and Allen.

Is this another diddy cup you’ve pumped out off , two cups in one week from league 1 teams ?
I’m not a United fan chief but thanks for playing

Not Beelin just remembered and think the players have as well
I’d have completely forgotten about it if it wasn’t for constant references to it from Rovers supporters.
Amazed it’s been seared so deeply on the collective wee team psyche.

Safe to say @raith1974 is one of those raging Rovers fans with a massive chip on their shoulder about the mighty Pars.
Even when they’re well on top he’s only talking about Dunfermline the next day.

Not convinced anyone from Rovers is beeling about anything today.
That’s what I would have assumed tbh.
That’s why the odd fixation on Matty Todd surprised me.

Matty Todd has brought it on himself bud , he lit the touch paper in July , both are decent young players and my pars supporting pal ( acquaintance really) raves about Todd but I haven’t seen much from him but then again I usually only see you lot 4 times a year, in the game in July I didn’t think he did much except the celebration, McCann impressed more
I’m not believing you’re still beelin about Todd doing the shhh in a League Cup group game

Fully understand the Rovers fans enjoying the win but to go after Todd and KRH seems a bit odd?
Neither player started as they were being rested for the Arbroath and QP games. Both were out for several months and last week was their first start. Their introduction also led to our only decent spell of the entire match.

Chalmers was dreadful for the first goal. He’s usually pretty dreadful out of possession and recently he’s not been even close to making up for it on the ball.
I think Hamilton needs to go back into the middle of the park asap. The midfield is a mess and it’s causing issues at both ends.
Mehmet still our best option in goal but that was another concerning performance.
Not even sure what you do up front tbh. McCann is probably the best of a poor bunch at the moment.

I think he was trying not to overload Todd and KRH as they’re just back from long-term injury.
Would have been insane to try and start them tonight, midweek and vs QP next weekend. Have no complaints about that call tbh.
Jakubiak hadn’t shown much before tonight but his performance was a disgrace. Must be completely drained of confidence because he looked like he’d rather have been anywhere else.

I know my fellow fans will object to this, but…Benedictus fucked us at Dundee, Raith and then the Pars. I really think without him you wouldn’t have won the league last season. Have you really not advanced any?
He was the best player in L1 by a mile last season and we look nowhere near as solid without him.

The credit in the bank for McPake is gone for me really, he done OK to get us here, but the problems we're facing aren't new and I'm not convinced he has any idea how to solve them.
We’re doing a little bit better than we did after coming up under AJ but it feels quite similar unfortunately.
That was a complete mess tonight though. Players couldn’t even make simple passes, our defence without Bene is soft and the centre of midfield is a mess.

This is a must win game for us. Honestly think McPake will be under a bit of pressure with another home defeat after tonight’s shambles.
