    Plus:

    • Robertson is a complete off-the-rails alky, and will likely turn up reeking of beer and munching on a kebab
    • Che Adams secretly supports England (and deliberately misses chances for us)
    • Craig Gordon is 132
    • etc...

Obviously I'm joking. But I get where you're coming from - it does feel like a few things are stacking up against us.

So maybe it's helpful to focus on the positives:

    • Of the players crucial to how we play, we are only missing one
    • We are at home
    • We are narrow but merited favourites
    • We played what was  - in my opinion - a tougher playoff vs Serbia and won. We're pretty good at these type of games.

Boom, Hell Yeah, let's get it done

Hi - I cant make next weeks match and my son is keen togo along with his pal - rather than his mum !

They are both 15. Think it will be ok to just give his pal my adult ticket ?

    cheers

    Tee

No, it will not be a safe environment! I on the other hand would protect him from incoming Russian missiles, and definitely not buy him a pint beforehand. Therefore I should be given that other ticket, not that I in anyway want to be at the match😇😁

I think he is a good player, just overhyped. People were saying he will be world class. I didn't see how you could say that at the time and nothing I have seen since has changed my mind.

Next Wednesday might tell us something 🤞

Tomiyasu has seemed a little bit injury prone as well. Cedric is alright but I think Hickey would be cover for both KT and Tomiayasu.

I’d just prefer it if two out of three of Scotlands decent left backs weren’t vying for the same position.

Reckon Tierney will be off to one of the elite group once his injury clears up.

    He's at that level now.

Just wished be fit to show a bit of that v Ukraine

    From 10 simulations:

    Pot 1: Qatar (5), Brazil (2), Argentina/Belgium/Portugal (1)

    Pot 2: Mexico (4), USA (3), Uruguay (2), Germany (1)

    Pot 3: Morocco (3), Serbia/Iran (2), Poland/Tunisia/Korea (1)

Tbf Qatar/USA/Morocco would be an amazing opportunity to progress.

Beating Morocco would also finally rid me of my 30th birthday trauma 🤣

I find U21 International football a waste of time at the best of times but when you've got a dumplin' like him running the show it's a shitshow. The first team have a very distinct style now, the 21s should be playing the same way but they just hoof it.

That last sentence is the one.

Stevie Clarke should be in a position where he dictates the style of play the U21's go with.

That way any players ready for the move up are already versed in what's expected.

It's a damning indictment of the sfa that we don't have a national style of play.

I spent 5 years in the Netherlands 30 years ago and everyone from coffee shop teams up knows the way they're supposed to play

How are they supposed to when they aren't getting selected even in a injury crisis?

I totally get where you're coming from, but SSC is SCC (Super conservative Clarke) I love him btw but would love to see a Gauld or Hickey get their chance, feel it'll be Nations League time though

Did you not read the thread properly is about the avent of injuries

And considering that this is the first time we have ever been in contact that isn't entirely true

Plenty of players are injured actually read the thread

Yeah, I was aware of that point,.......

    that's why I started the thread😁

I wasn't having a go at promoting new players, I'm kinda reckless on that as well, until they prove me no better than what's already there

    Aaron Hickey Bolonga

Ross Stewart Sunderland Ryan Jack Rangers

Would be happy for any of them to get in

Aye but you want everyone who's not in, in the Scotland squad 🤣

They are using the DFC fan base in the city as leverage to get planning permission for housing, commercial accommodation, hotel, CREMATORIUM, oh, and a new stadium. No doubt the stadium will be last in the queue and possibly won't ever get built or at least not in the form presented in the plans.

It's been pretty obvious from the start.

They are conning DFC fans, Dundee City Council and the citizens of Dundee.

They are Lyall Lanley characters with no interest, or even knowledge, in football.

This and your previous post kinda make everything else fall into place.

Staggering beyond belief. There certainly can't be any sporting reason for there involvement.

As for McPake, useful idiot is being kind. Certainly been no use to Dundee Football Club. Last decent thing he did was his equalizer at the dump 6 plus years ago.

Alex Neil would be a better appointment than Jack Ross IMO.

However, what I'd really like is all the applicants to be assessed and the right man to take us forward to come in. That probably means someone outwith the goldfish bowl of Scottish football.

Celtic are getting their rewards for sourcing a manager outside the box and there's no reason with our budget we couldn't find an exciting manager who could bring in players to have us regularly competing for top six.

This isn't a pipe dream; with our budget we should be challenging for top six. The absolute failure of this club year in year out, you certainly wouldn't think that's the case.

The truth is that as soon as McPake was given managerial duties we were accepting mediocrity at best instead of striving for the best.

Show a bit of fucking ambition and professionalism Dundee FC then maybe we wouldn't be languishing behind utter shite manged by clueless gobshites like Tam Courts and ex drug dealers like Martindale.

I couldn't give a shiny shite if we go down because the next decade of our clubs fortunes lies on the scouting system, youth development, playing staff and managerial positions being renovated and not what league we'll be in next year.

    It's time for change.

    Thank you.

Great post, all so true. Just requires vision

    McPake;

"Am I worried about my job - no. What I'm worried about is winning football matches. My worry is that as a football club we're bottom of the league, we look in a very dangerous position, and we need to get wins on the board."

    You should be, c**t.

The words of a f**kin idiot
