He's been basically faultless so far this season. Haven't seen many keepers at this level take crosses as well as he has so far and he made incredible saves today. Been an absolute revelation so far tbh.
As for the shitey Hamilton, I thought they passed the ball around well in tight spaces around the 18 yard box but we have a group of players in Lithgow, Jacobs, Strapp and Ledger that love a tackle and sticking a foot in so they never really got much success. We will still finnish above you . Lithgow your man aye

Mullin is a tremendous signing for Hamilton, and if he's going straight into the starting XI that increases my concern about the narrow midfield setup we had v Dunfermline leaving the full backs exposed defensively.
As well as Russell for McGregor, I'd put Lyon in for Muirhead. Even though that still wouldn't give us a natural right sided midfielder, the extra body in midfield would let them get across to help Hynes out a bit more without leaving gaps in the middle of the park and it'd let Jacobs sit deeper rather than the more advanced role which isn't getting the best out of him. With how well Oliver's played so far and the ground he's been covering I don't see that setup leaving Ugwu isolated.
This assumes that Hynes is fit after needing to come off on Saturday. If he’s not and McLean is still out then I guess it's Ledger to right back and Stafford thrown in at the deep end.
Our midfield was lightweight untill the signing of miko. Hopefully we play the 2 in font of the 4 untill we see what your playing and if its defensive move more attacking. I still think its gonna be close but i do think we might have a bit of confidence going in to this but so should have Morton after a decent draw against a good Dunfermline side imo. Im going for a small Accies win .....just.

Aye thats a brilliant display.

That should be the fear factor away and the confidence up for the players after a good first half. Has to be said though lucky at times through poor finishing . Should be a good second half for the nuetral anyway .

Cmon the Real ones. Best of luck tonight hopefully get them back to Perth still in the tie.

Going to be a very close game this one a dont think theres going to be much between any of the teams in the league. As for the team lineup i think Ryan in for Moyo and McMann in for Callum Smith is a given the latter would be a good sub to bring on along with Temps if needed. Think Hughes is still caught up with Covid issues so it will need to be mimnaugh. As for the defence anybody but Ben Stirling please ta. Score prediction 2-1 Accies. Crowd 900 odd.

What a difference last 5 mins from Ayr why not play like this from the start, must be frustrating for Ayr fans. On the plus side Oconnor looks a great wee player btw.

I don’t know if it would have made any difference, they don’t seem to know how to break Ayr down and actually create chances. Main tactic seems to be getting Burke to cross it in, which isn’t working yet.
I think if Killie score one, and Ayr open up at all, they’ll get a few more though.
Yeah well i suppose you have got a point i just think a good goal scorer will be getting on the end of the crosses with good movement and anticipation. Also a striker who can take the ball in to feet and use it well are like hens teeth in this league.

This game really shows you how vital it is to have goalscorer. Killie would be some side...... if they had Dunfermlines strike force

Cmon the good guys. (Ayr).

Think his overall work as a pressing forward was more of interest to us. We don't tend to rely on strikers for goals, it usually comes from throughout the team.
Fitzwater is probably the problem right now, he needs to toughen up mainly. Too weak and too slow. Although, yes as you say, harsh to judge on 1 game away to the league winners on the openerAndersons best games when big Oggy was up beside him. When hes up front himself he works hard but generally just throws himself to the ground a lot. Him and Hamilton could work well together.

Anderson up front on his own ....... Might have well played 4-6-0.
