My objections to him are mainly ability based tbf, for the points Random outlines. I’m not massively fussed about what a manager says about us when they’re at another club. They should always try and play up the club they’re at, something we’ve been desperate for since Tommy. Speaking of the great man, saying the play-offs are bigger than the League Cup Final (or whatever it was), to me, is a manager just using the media. Albeit Murray’s comments aren’t the greatest example for me to make this point on.
He shouldn’t be our manager for both his ability and his attitude towards St. Johnstone. A manager that fans don’t have a negative preconception - like Lennon and Brown (and Levein) - would be who I’d go for.
