I gave your post a greenie as I agree 100% with the point that B teams shouldn't be in the Lowland League.

Just checked no Pollock either for them.

Well done BU tonight but their continuing presence is a joke.

One game we will play several boys that have played first team football, next game we won't.

Stuff how that effects your opponents and the league in general.  An absolute disgrace that they are in league.

The lickspittles that voted them in should be ashamed.

  2. Strong team that Hearts C have out tonight.  f**king shambles. Get these teams out the league. Ruining it.

No Tait, no Wilson, no Sandilands off the top of my head, but hey these B teams don't influence the league.  Utter shite.

Are Gretna genuinely looking better this season? Was Hearts B side notably different from previous games this season? Or just neither of the above?

Gretna considerably stronger this season however that Hearts team was a lot weaker than have played other teams this season.

Another example of how their selection can cause a big influence on league positions. Quite simply B teams have no place in the league.

Totally embarrassing from Linlithgow tonight! I thought we had turned a corner but clearly not!😔🤷🏻‍♂️

Not as embarrassing as your post.  Boys gave everything and eventually succumbed to an error and the fitness of a full time team

    Your post is a disgrace.

I notice that no one was listed as a trialist in that squad on the BU twitter. Could the Dublin-Green brothers have signed?

    Somina was rotten at Rose.

  6. Good to see the policy of buying the league is still in place.

You will still struggle to go up though,  whilst you have the clueless, classless, narcissistic manager in charge.

    Guys a total fraud.

  7. So let's paint the picture here.  Twenty or thirty teenagers who don't go to games turn up en masse all dressed in black and wearing balaclavas.

This is the same group that Fuzzy says have been causing havoc in the town.

The same group that are trying to fight post match.  I wonder why they never gained entry.

Would you really want these guys at a Rose game ? Been causing havoc in the town for months and all turn up with balaclavas on. Boness fans were a bit boisterous but never really caused any issues.

On the money, when I left with my kids they were trying to fight with Bo'ness fans and shouting abuse at police. My wee ones were upset. They all had hoods up and faces covered.

  9. Did well to get a point.  Such a young team finished the game.

    Incredible injuries.

Paterson, Maguire, McMullan, Allison, Skinner all missing who would start.  Gary Thom who is clearly not fit.

The injuries we've had this season has been incredibly unlucky, maybe some of those screaming abuse at the mgmnt and players should take that into consideration.  Throw in the fact we're playing at a higher level but for some its never enough.

Webb looked like a serious too.

I disagree. We want a full strength Rose and BU fighting for the Lowland League. Well at least that’s want. 1,000 or more on the gate and proper rivalry.

I remember the Rose getting a bit of a bad press basically not backing the Community Club when they tried to splinter and go Junior and I’m glad they did.

Poster above sort of nails it. If you want a separate club why basically completely copy United? Must be very frustrating. It’ll be interesting if they ever do meet.

Ours crowds hold up irrespective of who we're playing.

They don't even bring that many anymore.  They already of the benefit of not having to maintain a stadium so let them have their two team squabble.

Just read up on this that’s a great idea and interesting. I didn’t know that and it’s been the case for almost a decade 😂

If Bo’ness want a league team having 2 sides fishing for the same 500 or so supporters it won’t help that all I mean.

Long may they squabble and divide their resources.

Newtown is owned by Falkirk Council. Both clubs rent it.

Most members of the BU committee refer to them as “the parasites”.

Something will give eventually though, not a big enough place for 2 sides when Athletic reach their potential.

It's not owned by council, it's owned by an independent association I believe.  Falkirk council got rid of it.

Plenty of other towns the size of Bo'ness have two clubs.

An update was sent to the Lowland League on the 14th February 2024

I am not sure if they published it.

Still confident of getting the target number of games in the league

Great job you do.  Well done.

Strangest part is a month or so ago he signed a contract extension - so clearly money offered was far to good to refuse.

I read suggestion that our squad is now around 16 which includes several loans and long-term injuries. In addition we have 4 players out on loan.

Certainly well short of personnel in all areas of the squad.

Big game today against another club that voted for B teams.

Show the same spirit as last week we should do well.

Biggest surprise of the night is the chicken man didn’t try and sign them at half time.

A rotten manager who has had success purely by outspending the opposition.  Even at amateur level.

To have spent the money he has done and still have a bang average defence takes a bit of doing.

Still got time to buy a couple more though, must be great in that dressing room wondering if you will be replaced after a bad performance.

Hopefully for the good of the league they do get up as their financial clout has bought the league.

If not then serious questions should be asked about the manager and his scattergun approach to signings.
