You were asked about why no midweek games a few weeks ago for teams who have games in hand and we were told you wanted to give teams free midweek to prepare for cup games on a Saturday and now we find buffs and talbot have two midweek games before a semi final cup tie ? So what changed your mind there!

Did we get an answer to this @Kennie can't see it but might've missed it.

There has been discussion of a split of West, East and Central Leagues at tier 5  at Meadow games lately but not seen anything online about it and asked them if heard anything about West reconstruction but they didn't know anything about it - no surprise - and my guess is probably wont happen with this new tier 5 shambles if you really must know.

You are a bit creepy stalking me on here and Twitter btw. Want my address too? 🥰🙄 😂

🤣🤣🤣 Only time you pop up on twitter is when you actively participate in Buffs chat.

It was on here I called you out for more nonsense (talking about the buffs) last week.

Statement says the process has been followed, it came back he could play from the competition Secretary, not sure who else you can officially check with? Seems like they managed to get the other three players right in the exact same process so makes you wonder…

The statement saying so doesn't change that I don't know the process. Makes you wonder what exactly? And please don't reply with words to the effect of "it was done on purpose, folk wanted Talbot out" cos that would be ridiculous.

Did you read the statement from Talbot? They didn't ask Clydebank. They seem to have taken the Competition Organisers at their word. Is not not how Buffs got away with their misdemeanour earier in the season?

It seems similar but not exactly as ours was a sending off suspension and not a player being cup tied. Our Secretary followed the process outlined to all Club Secretaries about checking suspensions with the Sfa. We were advised, after following the correct process, that Kev wasn't suspended.

If they followed the correct process, which I'm not sure of in this case, and someone has misadvised then I'd say it should be overturned. If they haven't followed the process as expected then unfortunately regardless of anything else it's cut and dry.

Decided to take in this hame today as my own team and board have chucked it this season and the league 1 games are now 18 quid just to get in.

This is just 10 minutes along the road so easy journey.

Lovely set up here, great covered terrace round the park and not a bad view to be had. I didn't have time for a pint in the clubhouse but had a wee nosey in and have to say it looks cracking. Enjoyed a good talk with some of the buffs regulars and enjoyed a cracking pie I have to say 10/10. There was 3 of us and I have to say for 3 pies, a tea and 2 borvrils coming I'm at 10 quid roughly I think, well you can't beat that.

Onto the game, thought it was a good game and over the 90 the buffs were worth their win and could've (maybe should have) score 2 more than they did.

Cracking day out lads and definitely will be back. A day out superior to some senior grounds I've been to over the years. A cracking wee ground and only £8 to get in!

Will make sure to come by train next time for a pint 👍

This is fantastic to read. The fans and committee have put so much in to make Buffs Park a home.

Next time your coming your first pint is on me; just ping me a DM the Friday before and I'll get it sorted for you.

Had every right to cry about them ! No other team had that schedule for 6 or 7 weeks!

Teams now have lot more games to play than talbot or Darvel

They had every right to moan IF they didn't want to get into the promotion play offs. Rob Roy and cumbernauld finishing the season 4 weeks late makes no difference. Darvel doing it potentially meant no promotion.

Not heard anything this end. But if Syme is worth £12k to Darvel then Esplin must be worth a hell of a lot more than £5k.

Could all depend on his contract situation I suppose. Very good player, but your not going to fork big bucks if he can sign for free in Feb. But if your desperate to get a player in who knows. Preseason transfer mill will be fun thisbyear regardless

Good managerial appointment 👍 also a touch of class announcing the goalkeeper will be leaving. Sure to help him get a club and should be done all over imo

Jamie is a great guy and been a great keeper. Deserves the respect imo! Really excited to see how David gets on at The Buffs, keeping Broomhill up and getting to a cup final win a limited squad and knowing he won't be there is impressive.

Yes McKenzie McGregor and Sideserf form the basis of our back line and all were out.We have struggled without them and Fraser in midfield.

Yes against a better front line we would have been punished more with the chances created. We were poor at the back.

Regardless it has been a marathon in this league and to have gone six months without a defeat in itself was superb.

Imo from the football I've seen played Pollock up until very recently have been the best team by a country mile. I genuinely thought they would hold on for the title. The league took a real turn from the bottom up which I doubt many expected.

It was a makeshift Lok line up but regardless that was our poorest performance of the season and we deserved nothing out of that. The defence and keeper were all over the place and Kilwinning deservedly took the points. If they had been able to finish better that would have been a bigger margin of defeat as you say.

A makeshift line up? Iirc there was only one change from the Kilbirnie game and maybe one from the uni game. Have use been missing players from a while? That aside I'd agree if the finishing has been on form with the start of the season it could've been even more comprehensive.
