If we had kept King I would have been happy enough going into the weekend.  Then again Rennie might be fit so he might be back with Leitch dropping further back.

In all reality if there were players lined up they would have been signed by now (as the 3 that have been signed were in place before turn of year)

With other teams looking at their squads and who they want to keep and who they dont I now dont expect anyone to come in until the last day or so of the month (as thats when most activity tends to happen) when I am expecting about 5 or 6 to come in.

Decent as a person? Danny was one of the most decent people I ever met. It's not decent we need.....it's competent and ambitious and bloody hard working with contacts in the game and an ability to assess a game in real time and make the necessary changes during a game to win football matches.

I just hope it's not Peter Grant

Thought Craig was our weakness today, looked so far out his depth, never followed his man once and was out of position 99% of the time. Absolutely shocking decision to bring him back, he wasn’t good enough last season and he won’t be good enough again this season. The right back was honking too. Sula and the other both at the back looked decent enough but badly need Carswell or grant to sit in front and give them some protection. Forbes definitely needs a diet before the start of the league season

Your right forbes would get a part in the teletubbies

I'm a bit anxious we won't get the nod for Crownpoint and we've stuck all our eggs in this basket with no backup plan - not that I'm a lover of the location personally, but we don't have any viable alternatives on the table by the looks of it. Although I think our bid is stronger, as we have a fanbase and something resembling a professional football club. Finnart are already based in the area and theres a lot of buzzwords in their application about foodbanks, mental health etc, so even if I can never ever see them attracting a fanbase of any sort and their ceiling being beyond the lower reaches of the pyramid, I wouldn't underestimate the possibility of decision makers being wooed by them instead especially given the mud that has stuck to the club the last few years.

As far as on the park, we are going down, thats a formality now, but we will slide even further quickly if we end up stuck at Accies.

Crownpoint won't happen am afraid we are finished the board should be ashamed of themselves alexander is a arsehole and Thomson is in the position he's in for the uefa thing he wants both have ruined the club

The post, while well intentioned, doesn’t really change anything. The chat is on looking at the past and about decisions made - staying at Broadwood for example. I do not disagree that owning our stadium to operate is the best way to get ourselves out of the problem we are in, but what do we do in the years it will take to complete this project? What happens if they don’t secure the site? My point is that the club is operating a zombie existence at the moment and there may be nothing to take to Crownpoint by the time that move happens (if it ever does, one look at Lesser, a project with far greater finance behind it, should offer a cautionary tale).

It isn’t acceptable to simply throw our hands up and say that if we don’t make it through the next few seasons it’s because of decisions made previously. Most of the current board were present for at least some of those decisions and currently, we aren’t even maximising the opportunities - commercially and otherwise - that we were told about at the start of the season from moving to NDP.

We’ve also got a current member of the board stating that he disagrees with the decision made by his now colleagues to retain Lennon’s services last season. I admire his honesty and appreciate that all individuals have different opinions, but once again it raises into question the judgment of the chairman and other board members if one of their fellow members says they made a key wrong decision which has now set us back and put us in a perilous position.

The truly scary thing is that I know ‘sack the board’ isn’t a solution to the problems and I don’t know what is. It feels almost inevitable where we’re heading now and I just hope we find a way out of it, especially on the field.

Crownpoint will never happen pie in the sky I predict we will be in lowland league sharing with the Glen's that's if they will have us

Don’t forget he signed Rob Jones as well. The single worst “striker” we’ve ever seen. And that was after seeing him be dug shite for Dumbarton the previous season.

    Unbelievable.

Has everyone forgot about the so called recruitment comic double act we have on the wage bill waste of money
