Whilst we could get Denmark and Hungary from pots 2 and 3 we cannot get Israel as they like us are in pot 4 (as are the other promoted teams)
So who are the pot three teams that looked like we could?

Denmark Hungary Israel will me do thanks aye anno that Israel are sticky wickets and maybe the tension in the world with the just now might provide the usual obstacles but would rather draw them than the others hopefully where we are just now we are stronger to hopefully beat them again

Imagine being able to name that many Rangers players off the top of your head.
We might even stick with Matondo since he is getting goals but he got hooked last night and never looked happy
Wright is good for a goal though always is in the cups and he'll need a game

Either we will get humped 5-6-7 nil or we will be in the game until the 70th minute when they take a two goal lead, then score a third and maybe fourth late on to make it look like a routine victory.
Our only hope is, they pack the team with kids, which I doubt because they are still very much trying to gel a team. Or the manager and players don’t show the respect the competition deserves and we catch them cold. It is always dodgy when you have a team filled with mediocre non-home born players and they think playing a team they have never heard of will be a walk in the park. It is normally the way with cup shocks down south.
Clement isn't interested in playing kids Bailey Rice isn't even with the 1st team and Lovelace is injured both would walk in your team and Lovelace is involved at his age group with England
Rangers will play people that need game time the ones who were on the bench last night in midfield would think
What you on about make it look like routine?
When was the last time Ayr actually beat Rangers the seventies?

I don't see us winning, but I also don't see a humping. 2-0 at worst. You'd imagine rangers will rest a few players so you never know. I'm still undecided about going. It's a ball ache KO time and the weather is to be shite. I'm getting too old and grumpy for this football lark
Yes but can't see Rangers resting that many
McCrorie
Tav
Barisec
Souttar
Goldson
Raskin
Sterling if can play in cup
Diomonde maybe
Cortes maybe
Wright
Silva
Wouldn't be suprised if this is the team

Willie Collum AND Scott Brown. There’s going to be some “heads gone” from The Rangers fans before kickoff. Pleasing.
Aye that will obviously take the edge of going out for you won't it?

All these big Ayr fans haven't even put Purdie on any lists makes you wonder though don't it?

This, absolutely terrible goalkeeper for us.
Aye lads that is why Kilmarnock signed up and Motherwell and St Mirren cos he was so awful at Ayr

Without getting back into the Ecrepont is he too short discussion, I’d point out that Kevin Cuthbert was a far better keeper than Samson, but kind of got ignored by premier league clubs because he was, well, too short.
Your tripping

Craig Samson retired in 2018, so I’d say he’s definitely Finnish.
Already spoke about him coming out of retirement like he has done before he is 39 could still provide cover for a season and free up wages for a outfielder if new sheep boss ejects him

Probably because we're #BoxOffice.
Nope half the support are bears without the fares the fact that you all seem to deny this genuinely gives me belly laughs
If Scott Brown manages to bring even a 10th of the Famous element its a little bit extra cash along with Ibrox gate money to hopefully keep the club going for a few extra years

I suggested Doohan with absolutely no idea what his contract situation was like. If he has a year to go then he’ll be at the mercy of whoever the Aberdeen manager is in the summer. Stranger things have happened.
On Albinson, is it possible that he has signed elsewhere for next season and as a result his performances have dropped. We saw it with Rose for a brief spell after he signed for Coventry.
It might just be a bad spell but to go from being one of the best goalies in the league to letting in the two goals he did yesterday is just bizarre and is a cause for concern.
Doohan could go back and play down south the more realistic likelyhood is he will go were the managers are down there that signed him before if remember correctly he had a few options

We tend to do a lot of shopping in the likes of the national or isthmian league. More likely to come from these pastures as a couple of levels between Aberdeen and ourselves
And that level is probably on apar with West of Scottish Premier league but I'll not go there cos Partick Thistle can buy from that league yet Ayr can't bit strange but there you go

With your knowledge of the footballing world who are the standout keepers in the lower English leagues? Our next keeper is quite likely to come from some of these places. Your pal Mulgrew made reference to punt signings yesterday when describing Celtic and it sounded very similar to our model
I don't watch the English lower leagues never have it was the Scottish lower leagues that I watched for a few seasons
And even then finding a good keeper was very hard not a lot of them around and the ones who are good from AF will usually end up going down to play English reserve football
I have watched English championship and league one on TV but there is no chance Ayr would attract a good one from there unless they pay the wages

That's true, let's see if Brown can use his Celtic connections and bring in Kenny Dalglish to the end of the season.
Keepers are different they train play a lot longer they do same drills with the keepers there training big Rab Douglas went on for years might still be even playing same type of shit playing and coaching
Its cool everyone fire away with your negativty just cos its my idea
Would be funny as f u c k though if it actually happened

Hiya Craig or a member of the Samson family
Nope just remember how good he was best keeper we had since Nelson when he was with them
Player/coach would be a no brainer
Also what makes you think that the new Aber sheep boss hasn't his own man in mind to bring with him?

In terms of a new goalie it wouldn’t shock me if we tried for Doohan in the summer. Not getting much of a chance at Aberdeen and Brown will know him well. It’s a step down for him obviously but a chance for him to earn a better move if he comes and does well for a year or so.
Craig Samson isn’t going to leave Aberdeen as a GK coach to work for Ayr as a GK coach but this won’t compute for the resident mouth breather.
How do you know that is doesn't want to make a playing come back?Do you him exactly wouldn't even suprise me if he was playing Over 35 in Mulgrews Sunday team its full of ex professionals
Bet you didn't even know about that stuck in your wee Ayrshire village away from civilization
