That having a league one budget and more players than the British Army will have you win the majority of the time at this level.

The league finished in November. Riveting stuff isn't it?

The league was over about a month into it to be honest. Although League 2 is interesting it is only because there are only 10 teams, and you are never that far from the play off/relegation spots. However, it can’t be a great spectacle for the fans, playing each other 4 times a season.

The whole system needs ripped up and reshaped, but as we know we will never get agreement from all Interested parties.

Absolutely understand why Clyde or many more Clubs would look at Mick, Si and ask "  Come here"

We did  , they are  here and unless I am am mistaken,  loving every minute of it.

Must never take anything or anyone for granted and my absolute belief is this is only the start of the journey.

Fair answer, although there must be something in it, otherwise I am sure he or the club would have came out and denied it, or put the rumour to bed.

Agree this £ stuff is only ever part of the equation.  Just look at the meltdown in Saudi with Nuno Espirto Santo getting the sack after spending more money on one team  than the SPFL for the next 10 years, maybe 20/30  years , who knows. That's not even in a league that is anywhere near the top.

It is absolutely what you achieve with what you have, no matter how that came about. There is an old adage that says  " the table never lies" Suggest more proof here.

I am certain Bo'ness would have beaten any other team in the league on Wednesday.  That is to their credit,  the fact we won is to our credit.

What’s your take on the managerial rumours ekok?

I really really don’t think it will be Kennedy.

Got a feeling he’s doing all this for PR and to keep himself in the papers. EK favourites to come up and hes put alot into them in a short space of time

From a Clyde point of view what has the guy really done in his career to deserve it? He’s such a wild pick and left his last two clubs in tatters .

Given how risk adverse our board is and how much of an Ego Kennedy has I just don’t see us as a good fit for each other

The one thing I will say about MK is that his teams do play good football, whether that would  be enough to save Clyde remains to be seen.

The Alloa job becoming available doesn’t help in terms of other candidates, as I am sure their heads may have been turned by that.

If he’s interested at all (and I’ve no idea if he is) I think McCall should be the pick. Even if it is to hopefully reverse some of the PTSD his Thistle team routinely thumping us has caused. The Tuffey game was funny though.

He will be more interested in the Alloa job that’s just became available.

I think he's smart enough though to know as he moves up the pyramid, he will need better players. He's not going all the way to The Championship, or SPFL with the core of the boys he has had at Darvel and now EK.

I'm sure he would take a few with him but realistically he will need a stronger squad to get Clyde up the leagues than what he has at EK.

I’m not entirely sure he will go to Clyde, seems like a better job at EK, given the resources available to him.

The Caley Braves manager seems to do a very good job with not much in way of resources.

I don’t see him quoted for other jobs, why not ?

Really young squad this year after we lost a lot of big players at the start of the season. I was fearful at the start of the season, but things coming together.

He is employed on a full time basis by the club I believe.

The bold part, that is defiantly not true.
They are under contract and will be paid accordingly to contract and if not then they can take action against the club and usually win.
yeah we know there is a bit of ducking and divign regarding contracts and how players are paid but for the most part most are on contracts as  professional players

You can’t get blood from a stone, and it could take them months to get any satisfaction from the SFA.

Absolutely ridiculous. It’s clear the LL is going to have to bring in some sort of restrictions/limits/financial doping penalties, complete nonsense. He’s a very decent player.

Here is one for you, should the LL and HL be part of the transfer window?

    P.S. What a signing though.

See to summarise this John gall has done a great job as far as the park gos , dressing rooms , infrastructure of the club , it’s no the best in the wosfl but it’s a million times better than what it was , he also has won the league and a never to be forgotten night against Aberdeen which will never be equalled in history of the Scottish cup probably , but it will have cost him an absolute fortune with not a hope of getting a penny back and when that gos wrong 7 months later I’m sure we have every right to ask questions about who made the decisions at the club , I’ve slated the 20k spent on Jordan Moore but it’s no his fault we paid that for him , I feel sorry for Tony mcinally as I’m sure this wasn’t the gig he signed up for and if the plan is for the under 20s to step up to the plate which it might be it might not be then we are in a whole lot of trouble , there are some no bad players in that team  but not one of them Close to being good enough for the top level of wosfl , if that doesn’t please some people so be it but that’s just my opinion , never be in any doubt that myself and the boys who left want a successful darvel but it needs to be done in a financially achievable way and that clearly has not been the case here

Financial sustainability is a bit of a myth in the  pyramid, due to the fact that, with a few exceptions, clubs do not have the money coming through the gate which is commensurate with the wages being paid. Clubs and players need a huge reality check, the level of money being paid to players is ridiculous, and it has to be said, it was Darvel who were at the forefront of that.

Sorry Pyramid Watcher, from what I know, researched and heard, I think it was the Civil Service representative at a general Lowland League meeting at the start of the season who proposed that relegation and promotion to and from Lowland League should not be talked about until the SPFL2 open up relegation from the SPFL2 to the Lowland.  Some other Lowland team seconded it and it had been hushed under the boardroom carpet.

Regarding the West.  If Beith win the league and do not have  a license then they cannot be put forward to the Playoffs but the WOSFL should be able to nominate the next team who has a license.  This is similar to the deal that if Hearts B or Celtic B win the league they cannot be put forward by the Lowland League for the playoff but can nominate the next team who can be put forward.   Going further up, its the SFA or SPFL who has to put the team forward for the Champions league, Europa League etc...

As far as I am aware there is nothing in the  to stop a team revisiting it, and asking for another vote.

As for the second bit, that is up to the WoSFL to propose that, and as far as I know they haven’t.

As the lowland league clubs continue to vote against increased promotion and relegation it makes it incredibly difficult for aspirational teams in WoSFL. Darvel, Talbot, Cumnock, Kilwinning, Pollok, Clydebank etc to actually get into the lowland league!

As far as I am aware there has only been one vote on that subject in recent years, although I stand to be corrected. Any LL club, at any time, can propose a new vote, and you would have thought that with some new clubs from East (Linlithgow, Tranent etc) having arrived there would be enough support for it now. Unfortunately we have had no teams from the West as of yet, and if Beith win the league again this season that will not change.
