Not too sure, you could be correct.

All this hub bub and it'll be Cillian Sheridan lol. They know precisely what they're doing, maybe Si is giving them tips on how to create attention for the club.
I’m afraid this comes with the territory when you have 2 “personalities” at the helm, you would think Ferry and his cohorts at Open Goal would be able to offer some advice on how to handle the social media side of things.

Its never going to be goodwillie. Lafferty would be my guess. But the wordplay and general tone from the twitter account is shocking. Regardless of there viewpoint on goodwillies situation, it’s no laughing matter. Poor poor taste to say the least.
Agree with this John, Lafferty would seem to be the most likely one, but it’s piss poor from the social media guy, clearly isn’t reading the room very well.

Yep I've seen those names suggested on Twitter, along with Lafferty also being available and a possible option.
This is the second time there's been a social media post which has hinted/alluded to rumours EK would be signing Goodwillie, that's clearly deliberate and in quite poor taste..
I think you could file their tweet under attention seeking.

Could still be on, Goodwillie ticks all these boxes.
Social media bloke definitely trolling everyone with the "good will come" line...
I understand, albeit from an unconfirmed source, that Goodwillie has been afforded training facilities at K-Park. If it’s not him they are signing it could be some one like Lafferty.

It was a very big squad so not sure most is accurate.
Probably most of their strongest 11.

«GRETNA FC 2008 have a bye in the first round of the South Challenge Cup.
And in the second round landed a plum home draw against last season Scottish Cup giant killers @darvelfc.»
They frame it as a positive, but will surely be a loss.
Not entirely sure about it being a loss, Darvel have lost most of last season’s squad.

Yeah heard this yesterday on Clyde midweek scoreboard that’s FC Edinburgh changing back to Edinburgh City FC
Not checked yet but is this true? Or has it happened a while ago and I’m as usual late hearing the news?
Only happened yesterday

Not a bad performance on Tuesday against Dumbarton losing 2-1. Big turnover of players this year so be interesting to see how the season pans out. In Ricky we trust though!
Could be a struggle this season, be difficult to replace the quality lost, however I still expect somewhere mid table.

For what it's worth, my predictions are as follows:-
1. Celtic B
2. East Kilbride
3. Tranent
4. Linlithgow Rose
5. Berwick Rangers
6. Albion Rovers
7. Stirling Uni
8. Bo'ness United
9. Civil Service Strollers
10. Hearts B
11. Cowdenbeath
12. Caledonian Braves
13. East Stirlingshire
14. Broomhill
15. Gretna 2008
16. Cumbernauld Colts
17. Gala Fairydean Rovers
18. Edinburgh Uni
Going forward, EK to beat Brechin City in Tier 5 play-off, and then onto beat Elgin City (Club 42).
As far fetched as it gets, but it's my best guess!
I would be willing to bet a considerable amount of money that Gala will be nowhere near the bottom of the league, I expect them to be top 7.

This is in fact the third season it has been open to non-SJFA tier 6+ clubs (since 2021-22).
Apologies, wasn’t aware of that.

The SJFA have the money to make this an attractive all in Cup, and they have offered a “olive branch” this year by opening up the SJC to non members. Surely it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that the organisations can get together and work something out.

Have they signed Darvel's social media guy as well? Because the content feels (to my untrained eye!) quite similar in the way it really builds the hype. Really professional stuff.
You are the social media guy aren’t you?

Their next Tweet:
Goodwillie incoming, or Twitter admin having a laugh?
Probably having a laugh, but it’s not in very good taste if so.

Should this Cup and the Junior Cup be combined and make it one competition? It would certainly help with sponsorship.

Do you know why is the cup Twitter account is not active at the moment, it would have been good for updates last night.

You are probably right, the amount of baggage that comes with the first three mentioned really isn’t worth the hassle for the club.
