  1. Normally lads I would be all about you boys giving the blue cheek a bloody nose but for this one time i hope Tavernier gets a hat-trick of pens on Wednesday.
Always had a soft spot for the Dees but business dictates that we need a Rangers win on Wednesday then a bottle job in Aberdeen come Saturday.

If it’s not us that makes top 6 i hope you boys make it (sorry hibs lads)

I would be disappointed with any fan who didn't boo someone in those circumstances.

Polworth must be a bit disappointed that he didn’t get it tight. I didn’t give a shit when he touched the ball but i had a good laugh when Kev got his yellow. Hopefully we don’t do something stupid like finishing top 6 and we have to see Kev  again

Bair was class today, I actually think he plays better without a strike partner and having the attacking midfielders behind him for support.

I liked the Sod and Mugabi experiment today, Sod had some of his best attacking play today. Even Mugabi was getting up and putting crosses in and making his presence felt in the box.

I think the first half for the most part Killie were the better team apart from the tail end when we got a good goal and brought ourselves level.

Second half for the majority of it I felt we were better and had some really good touches and attacking play. We seemed to finally have some understanding up front and that clicked today.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game but need to find the answer to these draws.

Very good sum up of the game. Bair was class 👏🏻. Killie weren’t sure what to do with Mugabi playing wing back and I understand their confusion cause I didn’t get it either but it worked 🤷‍♂️

  4. I was correct with my shite fest prediction just a shame it wis a draw. Dunno if the conditions were a part of it but i wasn’t particularly impressed with Killie considering they are easily a top 6 team this season. The amount of diving was really surprising 🤨. Kev coming on and doing f**k all apart from getting booked was good for me. Him trying tae bully Mugabi was funny 😄

Simo is just set to be a perennial 'what if' in terms of managing us, a fact I think I'm quite glad about. Loved him as a player, and would hate it when the inevitable day came that it fell apart in his reign and I would have to call him a useless cvnt and demand his sacking...

Van der Gaag ? Did he not get the heavy knock back for Baraclough ? Big Mitch n Mickey Weir management duo ? 🤷‍♂️

  6. If the next 3 games are LLL I don’t think Kettlewell can survive that. Paisley on Saturday is absolutely massive.
We come away with a loss then we can probably forget about the blue cheek and Aberdeen away.

Its a big IF but if we lose the next 3 then hopefully any new gaffer would get the “bounce” against Livi.

The game that made me love being a Well fan was big Van der Gaag against Dunfermline. I feel like we are heading to that sort of season ending again 😬

  7. If we lose in Paisley on Saturday are we all agreed Kettlewell is done ? I’ve seen a few folk say he might get to the Livi game but if we do lose at the weekend then Tavernier gets a hat-trick of pens on Christmas eve then we’re off to Aberdeen. If the worst happens would that be a 16 game winless run ??  I can’t say for sure but that must be up there with the worst sequence of results we’ve ever had 🤷‍♂️

Ending a game with 10 men, and your central midfield pairing is Spittal & Wilkinson.

Wee Davor must be absolutely howling.

Lose on Tuesday and Kettlewell should be punted.

Totally agree. I was behind Kettlewell but things are clearly not working. I was in Paisley the day i first seen Davor and i still stand by what i said that day, i’ve never seen a player so out their league it was embarrassing 🙈

I can't take anyone seriously who starts by saying "if you're relying on guys like Butcher and Spittal" in a negative way.

Blair Spittal has been an absolutely superb player for Motherwell, one of the best signings we've made in recent years.

If we had a team full of "guys like Spittal", we'd be talking passports, not playoffs.

Butcher was class when he came in and hopefully will be on his return. Spittal was the main link up along with Johnston that made KVV have the season he’ll never have again.
Not seen the rest of this conversation chaps but if anyone is saying otherwise they are throwing  shite at the moon.

I'd completely agree the game turned on Kettlewell reacting at half time and McInnes having no answer. For all he's recruited well this summer, he does sometimes seem unable to react well to opposition changes on the park.

Just seen the McInnes interview and he said as much. Said ye’s still matched us up in terms of formation but never handled us changing from 2 tae 1 up front with more in the middle. Killie were impressive the first 45 today but i can’t comment on the second ( sorry) (not sorry🥳

He's a brilliant prospect and it's good to hear that he's doing so well, but have there been any concerns about overplaying him? I know the season's barely even underway, but it sounds like he's already an important player.

He has been class since coming in but i’m sure McCarthy was the same with Accies was he not ? It’s one of those ones us fans always say mate if you’re good enough you’re old enough.

I thought that was a game won by the manager TBH. First half, Killie looked confident and compact - should probably have gone in 2-0. We looked terrible in comparison and Efford and Bair might have been the worst front 2 seen for a long time - but given they are literally our last choice forwards, I don't think that was a surprise.

The change at half time to bring Paton on and change shape was something that Killie didn't seem able to respond to and I would guess McInnes will be mulling over the lack of a plan B tonight.

Spencer for me looks like some find if that was his debut out of position. His recovery pace was scary and he popped up in enough good attacking positions to tell me that he'll be really useful once he settles in.

Paton gave us his best performance yet and the bonus was that our other midfielders all became way more effective as a result. Casey was ridiculous today - popped up everywhere, defended well, shouted at everyone, scored and won us a penalty. Lennon Miller survived what became a very physical game in midfield and became better as the game went on, which remains mind blowing considering his age.

This is a good start to the season lads - would be good fun if St Mirren, Killie and ourselves had a wee ding-dong this season for a high league finish.

I see your comment on Bair and Efford being the worst front two and I agree it was absolutely grim. But i think we should all remember the day in Hamilton we witnessed Main and Sammon…… much grimness 😔
