If we play with the same attitude shown against QP there is no reason we can't get at least a point from this fixture. Still a tad worried about central midfield where QP seemed to boss us for large parts of game although not looking likely to convert as defence and Sneddon on good form .If we can tighten up here I'd feel more confident . 2-1sh Jags .

Great to get back in point winning business yesterday against a very competent looking QP where a big change in attitude made the difference in a still embryonic side.Once we get central midfield sorted out we’ll really start to kick on ,felt we let QP boss midfield for large parts of game where Fox had acres of space to stroll forward and spray the ball around at ease . McInroy is going to be important for us this season ,however,felt everyone looked at the races yesterday with no major bomb scares. QP obviously have a very young side but will for sure be up there when the reckoning is done .

Just took a stroll with the dug past the beating heart of the eclectic West End (ok,North for the pedants) and have to say the pitch is looking perfect and ready for the Glasgow Derby .Really need 3 today to have any chance of victory so reality says 2-2 at best for us but really need a better performance than those against Hearts and Airdire….the elusive Mr Robinson to make an appearance today ?

Not looking forward to this. Team currently composed of a small handful of decent players (Fitzpatrick,Milne,McMillan and Lawless)surrounded by a sea of dithering meh .Doolan needs to get back to basics this week on the training ground if we're to scrape a point.

Agreed and ended up a free header in box ,however,Watson was also left to wander up the touchline several feet on more than one occasion unchecked when taking a shy by a piss poor ref and even worse linesman who quite rightly penalised Thistle for doing the same at end of game .

At least Fitzpatrick had a bit of go,big Brian had one of these off days when he should have been hooked at halftime .

Honking performance but hope it's a nadir and we kick on from now and take on board lessons learned...thought Aero summed it up perfectly post game interview. I have faith in Doolan,however,he needs to start making some tough decisions .One obvious one is at what point does he start hooking Graham ?(I say this as a fan of the big man)rather than leave him ineffectual and flailing about up front which he does on occasion .Should have been of after 60 mins and Adeloye given the nod for more muscle and an aerial threat up front and chasing a second and third goal which we need to counter our leaky defence .

He was certainly a big miss today .

Can’t argue with the result today or make excuses for a tight/plastic pitch….Airdrie looked sharper, hungrier and on balance deserved to win.Possibly our feeblest performance of the Dools era but not hitting with panic button yet as team needs time to settle. Not many positives today but would say a better performance from Williams and great to see wee Lyons getting another goal( is that a goal a game now ?).Too many negatives to dwell on but thought starting Bannigan behind Graham was as bizarre as it was fruitless…really need McInroy back .

Despite blowing a couple of sitters I thought McInroy looked the part last week and will be a big miss or us already if not fit for tomorrow .

He had a couple of lengthy spells out at Cove and think he was one of the ones out for Thistle during that horrible spell round about that Aberdeen cup game where half the first team got crocked.

Happy enough with that given Milne's a bit Injury prone .

I have Airdrie pencilled in as this season's surprise package to do an Ayr or Arbroath (21-22 season),not sure why,just a hunch. Anyhoos,looking forward to a wee trip to deepest,darkest Monklands. Seems we've just recruited another striker(4 now)...which is great,however,would feel a tad calmer with another CB or two before window shuts .
