No detail again from the trust. Seems there's alot of sweeping going on.
I agree who is attending meetings with DFC board is the Trust director fit for your purpose if incapable of asking questions without back up.
i smell a rat and as a fan base we need to be more proactive
you don’t want 150 years to fall by wayside

I can tell you that a courteous response was received from club Chairman Neil McKay with the suggestion of a face-to-face meeting at the ground last Saturday morning. That meeting took place - I was a participant - but in the intervening period it had become overshadowed by the publication of the letter in the national press due to an unforeseen and erroneous upload to the Trust website for which the Trust Board reps accepted full responsibility. The club Board of Directors was understandably unhappy at what was private correspondence entering the public domain.
I have no intention to go into detail of the meeting here but as time permits there will be a summarised account of proceedings provided to Trust members. In saying that there is no attempt being made to hide anything and there is no attempt at stifling debate. Supporters should however be aware that both the DFC Board and the Trust Board now have a greater understanding of the issues raised in the letter, with ourselves in the Trust appreciative of the opportunity to fully and passionately articulate the concerns of our members and the wider Sons support.
That is promising your letter has been given the respect and answers it so deserves, where are you hoping to address fans of Dumbarton?
i noticed that some of your youngsters had dropped away this week sadly, albeit this may have been due to their silly flare issue week before.
Not all fans are trust members and their views are equally important for the club.
if you were present at the board of directors meeting was the Trust director present too or were they incapable of holding this meeting to represent your trust.
its sad but it appears to be disintegrating before your eyes.
your last director appeared to communicate well and liaise with fans, open and honest has to be the order of the day.
l offered to assist with a few things but I’ve not heard back and my offer to sponsor certain things has gone unanswered maybe money isn’t required

Few points in here tonight.
daddy cool is a dobber and definitely not a Dumbarton fan.
Biting enough to Cross swords over who is better educated shows that daddy lol is in fact the least educated a
and
Having watched the highlights, it’s definitely not a red card. As was said earlier that ref is atrocious, his decision making today was terrible and this had been the case multiple times watching him ref games in the past.
no complaints about the pen. Although it is unlucky for our Joe
fk off daddycool
I am a football fan and visit many grounds.
i actually like Dumbarton I really do as much as I like visiting a few grounds where work permits I attend.

No Dumbarton fan refers to the club as "you lot".
Admit it. Who do you actually follow?
Dumbarton, east fife, Montrose, Morton and Dunfermline
whoever plays when I’m off and a friend is free I attend.
you lot is what I used as you’ve turned tonight when I’ve pointed the obvious and you have not liked the points made
you’re unfriendly staff and pointless trust

It could be be built on. But it needs a lot of remedial work. It's an old dry dock, it's packed with God knows what. It's not worth half as much as it was hoped it could've been worth years ago.
You said "How much did club pay fir her to do nothing but feed her ego"
You then say "They are not paid a penny, correct."
Kind of answered your own question there, no?
So you might at least want to be consistent in what you're posting. As incoherent as it is.
I'm not sure if you're half cut or what's going on really. But I'll leave you to it. Come on a forum full of fans who care about a club, tear into said club and fanbase and then start acting up. Your attitude towards woman involved in football is shining through big time too. You might want to tone that down a wee bit.
I have absolutely no problem with woman in football
let me make that 100% clear
did the trust pay for a director is my point ?
ie shares ? As per norm ?
does your director liaise with fans ?
does she communicate? My pal Dave is a trust member, he hears NOTHING from director.
that is the point the whole point and nothing but the point.
mate I’ve nothing against football in any walk of life and especially in football. My wife has a fabulous career in a male dominated environment and I support her a thousand percent.
what I don’t like is false representation and I say to Dave time and time again what are you getting for your money at Dumbarton FC
NOTHING. Not even a mix with fans, I tried to approach her with concerns only to be told I’ll be with you after my meal.
so you are naive and I won’t be back and I won’t even put my money into any sponsorship or whatever
your response is as uneducated as you
