Additional microphones set up near the ultras would be great. Folk who don't get to any games must wonder what all the fuss is about with the ultras as the noise simply doesn't get captured
Could be done but sound needs mixed in, but a H&S issue would be the lengthy cable run.

Yeah, thought that myself that the highlights were of high quality. I can't help but wonder however (and apologies if this has been discussed before - I'm sure it has) is there any possibility of the club TV cameras using the broadcast scaffolding to record the footage? We had a fantastic support today, even in the main stand, but the camera unfortunately doesn't show any of it.

I watch them on a large PC screen and I have been noticing the poor picture quality and choppy framerate issues his season. The quality of the picture tonight was razor sharp and the framerate was perfect. Obiously there have been some hard work going on behind the scenes to acheive this. Bloody well done everyone involved, great work.
You are getting the recording straight off the camera rather than the stream that’s the difference

Here you go Edinburgh City's version of the highlights which is much better resolution, brightness and clarity than ours. Do we need better cameras? This is much better to see the woeful first half (and the great saves their keeper made).
Got to remember the highlights that EC do are not sent out at midnight, they are edited (normally with dubbed comms), but you can see time is taken to give a nice edited package, imo ours look like they are recorded straight off the stream so quality is slightly less.

Presume they mean that Long has to be played a certain number of times.
Yeah that’s what I meant, never post when half cut

Watching the post match interview, i dunno about the rest but I felt the reason for dropping NH was a bit wishy washy, it smells a bit of contractual obligations and we have to play him.

Not making it an excuse but when will links park get relaid, looks not that great

Do they usually show the Scottish Cup matches? I'll actually be genuinely abroad for it
They did last season, so no reason why not

Maybe my old ears playing tricks but I’m sure I heard a burst of Let’s all do the Brockville Hop a couple of weeks back.
some of the old boys should tell them there is a 2nd line “let’s go straight to the f’n top”
great hearing it though

You will be able to get your bellend out at midnight and watch Donaldsons goal as many times as you wish. What a strike
No replays and a dodgy stream but as long as the sponsors are happy eh….

Anyone any update on Long's injury? I hope it's nothing serious because he's been excellent for us. No offence to Hogarth who's a competent enough keeper but I'd much rather have Long in goal.
Shoulder injury apparently

Yet again the 3rd stool via FSS being asked to bring in more money and the other 2 don’t stump up their share, despite being the decision makers.

In fact nesbit seems to have joined the commentary team for the game. Really interesting hearing his perspective on individual players
I do like it when the players do co-comms they do notice more than a fan, I’m sure the last one was Tom Taino when he was injured, hopefully it doesn’t mean Nesbit is out for too long

Utter rubbish. Where is your evidence for this?
By speaking to former members of staff….. statements like that send jitters, whatever the business.

Unfortunately when the club has effectively gave a “win or bust” statement at the agm both the non football and playing staff will be looking over their shoulder and come January and if we’re not in pole position then we could see more away imo.

If the rumour was true at that time Kingsley was going to Celtic in the summer and I always felt Chalmers was a “try before you buy” type loan deal. But yeah it was a v poor jan window

Indeed. I'm reminded of 13/14 when we pumped eventual champions Dundee twice at home, and STILL ended up losing in the play offs to Accies after finishing 3rd.
Holt fucked us that season too, by not recruiting from a position of strength in January.
I think I hate that p***k more than any employee we've ever had.
Also roberts spitting out the dummy getting sent off against alloa didn’t help, for me 3 points that f’d things up.

HD processing
Thought you couldn’t use bbc pics on club highlights as the video is their copyright

You needed SPFL permission for a club to “beam back” the game, I believe they asked for one on 2 occasions, v Dumbarton last game of season a few years back and when we played in Ireland in the Trust Tropht cup and both times it was refused.
But with streaming within the UK for the game so it’s possible (ayr’s stream) but they’ll probably need to do a deal with Ayr with possible lost income.

There used to be games that they couldn’t cover because of connectivity before they switched provider so not really sure what your point is.
Presumably there’s no power/internet/both available at the ground.
Sounds like they forgot to take the battery pack on no 4g in the area cause those are they only 2 things you need to stream something

When he was at Falkirk he wasn’t great, but he’s a few years older so maybe has matured

He was adamant but I said about Davy Mac and he said he heard from a reliable source. I find it very hard to believe to be fair
Considering that on their own personal social media and also on the club stated that they are both watching the games from the stands rather than the gantry, then your source seems to be pulling your leg.

Just saw on FB that wee Luigi has left FFCTV. Alluded to a fall out.
Surely the club haven’t gone back to “dissing” volunteers as in the past? Hope it isn’t that, but he did comment he didn’t want to leave.Anyone got the gen?
Stuart leaving too I hear so all change with ftv next season.

Normally in these sell on clauses it’s the %age of the “profit” so anything over his original transfer fee, it’ll still be a fair whack, papers saying 200-300k.

I'd be shocked if we were paying any of his wages tbh. At the time it was a convenient move for both parties - Hogarth was guaranteed game time while PJ was injured, plus he's a local boy who could provide his own accommodation thus saving FFC some money. I guess now that PJ is back we couldn't guarantee that Hogarth would start and although Forest won't need the money they'd probably prefer to pay him to play for their 23s rather than sit on our bench.
If you listen to the JM interview he says forest moved the goalposts, so either wanted more money or guarantee of game time, given PJ’s performances the last 2 games I’d say they wanted us to contribute more money to his wage, cause he would deffo be 1st choice imo.
