Surely there’s got to be at least 1 CH through the door by next weekend as we can’t really go into the League cup with 4 defenders and 3 of them being full backs and with our injury record just can’t trust it

Kieran MacDonald been released by Hamilton I would certainly take him back

Surely we’ll see some transfer activity this week and next because that’s when the competitive games start and I’m not really optimistic with a CH pairing of Berra and Dick

Murray saying in the Courier today that Matthews and Vaughan should be back in 6 - 8 weeks.
Yeah seen that luckily we’re well covered In midfield for Matthews and Vaughan hopefully he comes back and gets managed correctly then kick on for the rest of the season

There was a lot for Murray to be unhappy about with the goal conceded. Mostly for me was the amount of space and time the lad got to look up and take his opportunity to shoot from there. Ideally a keeper never gets beaten from that distance, but like Marshall in the Euros, it happens, usually because others don't do their jobs first.
Overall a lot for Murray to be pleased with, the new boys bedding in well, looks like we're going to have options from the players across a few positions. Gullan getting a few goals and being very much involved is good for his confidence too. Wonderful strike from Easton too. Look forward to seeing the team on Wednesday against some bigger opposition in Queen of the South but yesterday was a good testimonial for a local lad who spent most of his career at Dunbar, well done to him.
Tbf No one expected the strike from the lad and caught everyone including Thomson off guard there’s literally nothing he could’ve done

Ross Millen can’t really judge his performance as he never had much to do, he did put in a few good cross and got forward but against lesser opposition he was never tested, be interesting on Wednesday to see him defensively as Queen of the south is a lot better than what Dunbar are

Speaking about offers, Brodys Mum and Dad were stood next to me said that hes considering his options with a few offers on the table already wouldn't say if we were one of them but the fact he got game time would indicate we have.
Looked very good going foward, despite Liam Dick constantly having a go at him for pushing up.
Would love it to be us and maybe the Murray factor could convince him as he looked a cut above, Kieran MacDonald Esq going forward, beating his man and putting in a good cross, not been challenged defensively yet so we’ll see on that front but he did look good and composed on the ball

That was just a special training top designed for this game supposedly as they obviously didn’t want to wear the new kits because of the reveal tomorrow

Hoping what Davie and co said is true and that the top we were wearing today was indeed just a training top. If it was a training top I'm suspecting the new top must have some sky blue in it somewhere. I've got the fear already.
As for the game. Some good goals there. Eastons the pick of the bunch but good finishes by Mitchell and Paterson.
Any ideas why Spencer and MacDonald weren't included in the line up?
Spencer don’t know, and I’m sure Jamie MacDonald was away to family wedding or some family event

Noticed a couple of falkirk supporters there today.
They were their to see there new signings Dylan Easton and Brad Spencer…… oh wait

Get Paterson signed up, doesn’t get a nose bleed going forward, can actually beat his man and put in a half decent cross, already an instant upgrade IMO, have dick as backup LB/4th or 5th choice CH when Murray brings his own in

Been quite impressed so far tbf. Playing some tidy stuff.
You’ll get that with McGlynn some good football on display, but also the way he plays leaves your team open to the counter

Mitch is top class, a match winner. Agile, creative and a natural finisher. Plays best with a target man next to him.
I liked Mitch but for some reason didn’t work out at us, but he’s been fantastic for cove, be interesting how he does at championship level this time round

Judas has signed for Hartlepool, Hartley is raiding the Scottish leagues leaving nothing for others, he’ll be after McAllister and Megginson next

Reading the Falkirk thread and it looks like McGlynn has taken his injury jinx with him
Think McGlynns training is too extreme and the players physically can’t handle it? Like beyond there limits type thing

Aye, he was wildly bad that day. Some chat he was ill? If so he shouldn't have played.
Doesn’t excuse the fact he let the ball over his head for the first goal and totally lost track of his man, too far up the park for the 2nd goal and never really challenged for the ball, and gets done for the 3rd goal….. pish defender be good if we can get a upgrade this summer

What’s happening with Robbie Thomson? doesn’t seem to be in the training videos at all and we don’t know if he’s still part of the coaching team

Anyone going to Dunbar on Saturday and what’s the best way to get there? My Cars off the Road so can’t drive through, what’s the train situation like?

Couldn’t care less where he ends up now, he thinks he is better than he actually is and has no affinity for us, I reckon Falkirk may take him
I couldn’t care either tbh, I reckon like a Morton Ayr or maybe even QP he could well at them can’t see him moving back down L1 unless pars give him a good wage or a loan to Kelty

into League One with Dunfermline or Falkirk
I’m sure he trained and got offered a deal at the pars before signing for us so he could go back and try his luck there, and he knows McGlynn well but have Falkirk really got the budget to get him apparently there money problems are bad, I liked Armstrong but I felt he tried to much when there was a better option to play

That dodgey twitter account who said Musonda was close to signing for Ayr is now saying Partick are hopeful of signing ex rovers defender Euan Murray, I know that he’s a dirty Judas and the way he left etc but who anyone be against taking him back even on a season long loan?

Here is a list of CHs from the championship supposedly out of contract 1 or 2 might be wrong and still under contract but here we go
Ryan Stirling, Adam McGowan, Daniel O,Reilly, Shaun Want(Hamilton)
Kirk Broadfoot, Harry Nicholson (ICT)
Lewis Martin, Leon Jones (Pars)
Michael Ledger (Morton)
McKenna (Partick) but I think he’s close to a new deal
none of those really fill you with confidence

I’ve been saying about Liam Dick for months he’s a shite defender who can’t defend (I know the goal wasn’t is fault) but sometimes his positioning and awareness is awful and players are through on goal
