I heard he was at our game v. Celtic as there is a break in the season in India. Must be tough not seeing his family much. I’m sure he’d be welcomed back into the fold, but we’d need to start offloading some of our strikers.

Back in July 2017, Stewart was given a rare outing by St Mirren at Firhill in the League Cup. Saints were very poor that day, Thistle played well, even when down to 10 men, and won 5-0. Doolan notched the first goal after 12 minutes. Ross only played a couple of games for us. He didn’t look up to the level required but was quite young. He did get an outing for Hearts last season, after Gordon got injured, but Naismith obviously didn’t feel he was of the standard required and quickly got Zander in. As noted, maybe just short term cover to allow Mitchell to depart (to Clyde?).

Even (most of) us neutrals are disappointed with how badly it seemed to go for Leanne at QP. Overall, she had a huge job on her hands but seems that she got some things right and a lot of things wrong. I note that the new stadium doesn’t even get mentioned! It will be interesting to see if she can rebuild a career in Scottish football after this. Suppose that will depend on what she did achieve at QP and how well she can spin the truth at her next interview. Such a shame after the jobs she did at Motherwell and, to a lesser extent, Hibs. Onwards and upwards for Queens, though. New beginnings and all that. We wish you well.

Think he might have been the main backup to Scotty Tanser. Unlucky for him that Tanser has been fit and playing very well. Correct decision to recall him, as he badly needs games to show what he can do.

You could always invite Scott McKenna, aka Scotland’s luggage carrier, back to the club.

Nice looking stadium. Fair play to the architechts for coming up with something different that provides a nod to your beloved Dens. Capacity seems a good compromise. Should be pretty full for most games, creating a better atmosphere than you’d have in a bigger stadium. Should be easier to attract fans to a new stadium that has much better facilities. Be good if they have a club museum too. I’m aware that planning permissions are required, etc. but any idea of the timescale?

Players are meeting up in Abu Dhabi on 1st of January. Looks like a few Hibs players will be missing when we next go to Easter Road, but we don’t get to play Hearts during this tournament.

Yes, he did stop play when the ball was still in play. When he did that, it ‘seemed’ clear that the ball must have been over the line, yet it still took an age to confirm that.
