  1. Certainly not impressed with the ticketing prices for either the Livingston game a team who we will face at least 4 more times this season or the Elgin match no disrespect to them but lower league opposition. The crowds during this time of year are traditionally very low with school holidays, the wickerman and the Dumfries show a little bit of forward thinking might have attracted a few more on the gates.

  2. I can assure you Roddy was charged an extra £15 to get the top signed which is shocking fair enough buying the top as the club get loads of requests from charities but charging to get it signed is poor.Especially when its a local charity organised by a Queens die hard who several years ago organised special equipment free of charge to clean the old stand during the fans clean up.

  3. Both Annan and Queens had really young teams out last night although the majority of Queens players were full time.To be honest looking at both line ups you would of expected Queens to win by such a margin. Both Aidan and Kevin Smith were the 2 stand outs.

.Nice touch by Annans new manager who stopped on his way from the dug out to talk to a group of youngsters for a good 5 minutes.

  4. Totally devastated with the way our beloved clubs board voted yesterday.Wish I was good with words like SD or Eugene to describe the way I and the majority of Queens fans feel.

Despite the hundreds of emails, blogs, letters and internet forums where virtually all Queens fans were calling for the board to vote the newco into the 3rd division despite this the board were one of the five voting for the 1st division once again 2 fingers up to the supporters.if this had been any team outside the old firm the vote would have been to allow the club to compete in the sfl this would have been decided weeks ago.

Since Norman Blount and Ronnie Bradford were chairmen Queens have built up a great reputation throughout scottish football as a great club with great values and supporters sadly in one fell swoop this has been taken away.

At one point I did think about turning my back on Queens after 35 years of pain and only missing 5 games home or away since 1985 but at the moment iam undecidex.I will howevere resign from my post as queens trust chairman and ball boys coordinater.

Gutted and embaressed is an under statement.

  5. Another decent addition to the squad it looks like Gus has gathered together a decent squad considering the reduction in the budget.I think once the squad have played a few league games together we will be very hard to beat but maybe not the most exciting Queens team to watch. We have competition for all positions and a squad of very versatile players.Lets hope for a decent result tomorrow to set us up for the tricky away match at Livvy.

  6. You also have to be somewhat realistic about the wages we can now afford to offer and the quality of player we are therefore in the market for. People are kidding themselves with some of the names that have been suggested.

100% correct SD we do have to be realistic regarding the players we can afford to bring in lets have a bit of faith in Gus and get behind him.I am sure he will use his experience and contacts to bring in some decent players.Lets also hope Gus and Andy can work with some of the half decent under 19's we have and get them prepared for 1st team football.
