Nah first I’d heard of it was on here. Was talk of St Johnstone in January but that has quietened down. I still think he’ll sign for Dunfermline though.

As said on here before, Paton’s agent has been trying to get him a move for this summer for a while now. I’d say there is literally no chance he resigns with us.

Realistic players to try and extend for next year: Botterill, Logan, McKechnie, Cochrane, East, Wilson and Todd. Players I’d like to see us target: Matty Yates, Scott Allan, Paul Watson, John Robertson, Joe Bevan.

I think a deal similar to what Wilson got last year makes sense for both parties. Hopefully we get him on a two year deal with a break clause if we don’t get promoted next year. I think he personally needs another year with us as well, you’ve seen a huge difference in him since he’s been playing more consistently.

I think if we plan to ditch the Back 3/5 next season and move to a 4 and try and dominate teams more we need a player more like Cochrane over Wilson.

Cochrane looks like he’ll be off based on an interview he’s just done. Disappointed personally as I think he is our best midfielder.

His agent has been whoring him out on various platforms of social media all season clearly in the hope of getting him a better deal somewhere next season. Also, the fact he has scored over 20 goals in a side mid table at the age of 22 makes me think someone will take a punt on him.

If it was up to me. Dabrowski, East, McKechnie, Cochrane, Connelly all get new deals. Still unsure on Hendrie, Todd and Logan. Would also offer Paton a new deal but he will obviously be away. I do think we need to stop having summers of changing the complete squad. I wouldn’t want us to bin off the whole squad and start from scratch, try and maintain a solid foundation with our keeper and centre midfielders, and look for centre halfs and a few strikers in the summer.

His shot stopping is fantastic. Kicking is a weakness, highlighted by the fact he always try’s to throw the ball to avoid it. The potential is there to see though, can definitely play at a higher level. Also an absolute hero of a guy compared to our last keeper.
