The English Championship is dreadful and we should stop picking players from it. They're always sub par.Β

Not helped by xenophobic national anthem that is essentially about a defeat. Self fulfilling prophecy. Time to sing about something else, unique and that has no mention of England for starters. Makes me cringe tbh
This is such a strange opinion. Don't think the anthem made Porteous get sent off stupidly or us basically leave their midfield alone.Β

Can they beat Spain though!?
A fairly average Morocco did alright at the last world cup iirc!Β

Also there are far worse teams than us on paper who can manufacture results out of these supposedly "unwinnable" games against Germany etc: Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland.Β

Genuinely think Clarke's time is up if we don't beat either Switzerland or Hungary. We've been absolutely disgraceful at both international tournaments we've qualified for under him. Fair play he got us there but we definitely should be qualifying regardless looking at our squad.Β

As a big fan of legionnaires disease I'm also partial to the Time Capsule.
The real Lanarkshire derby: Time Capsule Vs Hamilton Water Palace. Winner is who can have the highest shite per litre percentage.Β

I'd argue sharing a city with the the two arsecheeks is actually a disadvantage, to be honest. Population means nothing when, like the rest of Scotland, you have generations of folk whose football clubs are determined by success and bigotry, except here it's also combined with ease of access.
Offset by a very easy to access stadium with a massive local population, bolstered by students looking for football without weird bigotry literally right next to the ground. Also, most people in Glasgow don't own a car, so need to stay relatively local. Partick have a big local base in the west end.Β
Accies suffer most - too close to Glasgow to escape the pull, too far from it to attract massive local crowds, bad public transport not helping.Β

Not sure I can hack this dreadful Falkirk patter for another season. Can we just fast forward to the attendance comparison please and get it over with?Β

Mate of mine is doing a thread recounting all our players since the prem: quality memories for all!Β

Genuinely don't think I can afford the football alongside everything else right now. Mental. Especially since I don't live in Hamilton so have to spend about Β£5 minimum to travel to home games anyway.Β
It genuinely is cheaper to go and watch Celtic in some cases, especially if you're a student (and we of course haven't got round to offering student rates despite having UWS in the town). Can you really blame half the town, and most of Bothwell, Blantyre etc for looking towards Glasgow rather than us at this point?Β

Big, big money for the SPFL trust trophy winners next season. As much money as the Carabao Cup winners down south. Drawback is they've removed rUK teams - so no Coleraine away repeats. Definitely think we should seriously be trying to win it again!Β

Mumbongo was a bizarre signing. No hate against the guy but wasn't nearly good enough. And now we've lost Ben Black apparently because he couldn't get in the first team. Very poor squad management.Β

Yet we retain and keep players like Winters who have contributed nothing.

Who says we're keeping Winter?Β

- All of the loan players except Rose
- Fulton and Lewis Smith are sadly away anyway
- Jamie Smith, Kalala and Redfern out on loan
- Then let go of Hendrie, McGinn, Connor Murray, Hewitt and Winter
I'd keep McGinn, Murray, Jamie Smith at the club for depth. Kalala, Newbury, Ben Black loans. Hendrie 50/50, depends what money he's on. Winter, Hewitt Redfern away for sure.Β

I'll miss Lewis a lot. Played through a lot of shite and it's rare we have a player with a connection to the club. Was crucial in us going up this season too. Hope he smashes it at livi (not against us tho).Β

Feel bad for yous. Don't know how many of you have been to Kelty but it's absolutely crap. "Tiny ex-mining village in the middle of Fife" surely can't be a better draw than Inverness.Β
Didn't think many owners could be worse than Colin McGowan. Gardiner seems to have managed it.Β

Hamilton being credited with an interest in taking Connor Smith on an initial loan deal.
The ideal would be getting him off the wage bill completely but not having the option to play him would be a close second.
Has he really been that bad? We'd happily take him after he almost saved our worst squad this century from relegation.Β

That doesn't feel like a win. We really should've gone 3 up and instead we're only going to the Highlands on a 1 goal lead. Dreadful second half.Β

Tumilty is a championship level RB. We can't afford any better than him. A new CB has to be the priority now if Hamilton is indeed going.Β
