You on the bus, train or car?

There's a few nearby but might not tick all the boxes.

There's the glover's arms - more of a restaurant but has a small outside bit and area for just drinks. No football though. Not sure on their kids rules if no food? They may also not be very welcoming to football fans after the behaviour of Motherwell fans in there at end of last season. Vandalism etc 🤦‍♂️

Theres the Tulloch a bit dingy and old, football on via a dodgy box kinda place. I think they'll be fine with letting kids in though. Hearts had a supporters bus last season, good chance Hibs may also this weekend!

The Muirton Suite at the ground has the football on. Officially it's no away fans, so will depend if they've got someone on the door or not preventing away fans entering. Ayr fans were in there on Saturday past. Kids also allowed. Not the biggest space though.

Not sure if I'm actually helping at all there but might give you of an idea where to not bother going! 😂

Cheers for reply! Just taking the car up 👍

    Hey Hibees.

    Honest opinions needed...

Did you all want Maloney out?

Did he have any particular good points or bad points?

Did the players seem to take to him?

What style was he trying to bring?

    Thank you.

Yes I wanted Maloney out. He was the worst manager I have ever heard in terms of talking to media doesn’t sound like he could motivate any individual. Like a wee boy lost. His tactics were slow ponderous passing around the back line. After each game he loved to say he was ‘super’ proud of the players like some American coach. Promised attacking football yet we got the dullest football I have ever witnessed at Easter road. Didn’t look like there had been any improvements in the team.

It appears most managers, players that are mentioned on here are not good enough or are dicks according to some fans on here. I wil say I would not be happy with Ray returning. The way he left us was shocking just when we looked like we were building something good.

For me we should move for Ian Murray if we can. Kevin Thompson would be a good shout but we all know he will be off as soon as Hibs or someone similar come calling if he gets a little success with us. Scott Brown would also be short term as he will also be off after a season if he gets some success.

Not a chance hibs would come calling for Thomson if he done well. He’s hated by the majority of hibs support. Ian Murray would be different though. He didn’t leave under such a cloud.

My biggest wishes for the off season are a midfielder who presses everything and winds up the opposition, a forward to get excited about and Porteous kept/properly replaced (and bring back Chris Mueller)

Chris Mueller was bloody awful. Couldn’t even be arsed to chase down balls at St mirren last week. Believed his own hype.

Big parallels between him and Erwin, and to a lesser extent Hastie from Scott, IMO.

Got to the first team, looked really good in flashes, got a move and floundered. Perhaps a bit unfair but certainly Erwin and Scott give the impression they enjoy the accoutrements of being footballers, without actually being that arsed about getting better at being footballers.

Turnbull and Campbell, of Scott's generation feel like they'll be rolling sleeves up and digging in until they retire, and however far they get is fortune or timing, Scott and Erwin feel like they've gone as far as they'll go almost immediately.

That said, Scott's best work as a Motherwell player was wide and high on the right as a way to terror small full-backs, and struggled when played through the middle, and my impression is that Hibs think he's a #9, and he's still getting bullied off big centre-halfs.

It’s not as if he’s getting bullied he just goes into any challenge with the heart of a pigeon. I have yet to see him do anything of note. When he runs at players it’s done at a snails pace and he gets tackled. He did have a great chance at weekend but bottled heading the ball too. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him playing non league football in a couple years.

Well my local is Gabriel's which is a 6-7 minute walk from PGS. It's definitely child friendly and has a restaurant, there's big screen in the restaurant and some of the tables have small screens. It's a good 20 odd minute walk from the stadium although the 64 bus stops right outside and passes the stadium.

I'd recommend booking a table through the Greene King app or phoning them.

    Cheers! Will book there 👍

The nearest pubs to the stadium are half a mile away and none are particularly child friendly.

Better to go to the Wetherspoons outside Gilmour St Station, from there you're a 15 minute walk or 2 minute train ride from the stadium.

Cheers! Will give it a miss then was looking for somewhere to show football too but Wetherspoons won’t.
