My mate works at a hotel in Ibiza, was saying he was speaking to Andy Ryan (ex-Accies, now at Larne I think) who's staying there and mentioned he'd been contacted by us. He's planning a move back to Scotland anyway to be closer to his family, but Gus MacPherson who's his father-in-law isn't keen on him joining Ayr because of his Killie history. Worth keeping an eye on potentially.

Is a stream being made available for the game next week?

I don't think McAlear looked anywhere close to being match fit tbh

Any truth about us taking a guy called Hamadou Karamoko? Heard we were linked with him, work permit might get in the way again like Bangala though

Who is your best Ayr XI from 2000 onwards?

Last night I saw United scoring a goal
Ooh we, Murdy-Murdy Dip-Dip!
Looked at the table and we were top of them all
Ooh we, Murdy-Murdy Dip-Dip!
Murdy-Murdy Dip-Dip
Ayr!

My pal has sent me a poem.
"You inspire me to be better your name has many letter
You look so good in white and black
Next season we will welcome you back
You make my tender body shiver
When you make that silky net quiver
You’re going to set my world alight
When it’s your time to shine on a Friday night
People might think I’m a creepo
But I have everlasting love for Dipo"What do we think Honest Men?

It's been two games for Dipo, if he bags a goal or two at Galabank or McDiarmid Park everybody will be signing his praises. It's only the first two competitive games, It's no panic stations yet. I'll worry if the 5-3-2 stays if it clearly doesn't work, but as of now it's still only two cup games and the team are still gelling.

Have you still got your half and half Ayr and Rangers scarf? Only one club in Ayrshire has any time for the bigots and those scarves proved that. On a side note Killie have now passed 4500 season ticket sales.
Aw man this is actually embarrassing, cringed when I read it. I like a bit of back and forth, but I feel really bad for ye

Don't have a dog in this fight but Killie fans going on about season tickets is one of the most tragic things I have ever seen
Getting up to Ibrox must be too expensive now

According to the vision night 9 have went with 6 to come in so we are going to only see 2 more coming in surely some QUALITY at the back and another forward anything else and I’m concerned.
I'm not that concerned just now, some of the 9 that have went were utter guff, signings we've brought in so far I think are good. Need to have some more in place for the Elgin game. Reckon we'll get some good quality players in.

If you're curious about Beuker's vision for the future of youth development at the club, I'd recommend taking a look at the article here:

With the money that's available there's no reason why we can't focus on this while also maintaining a competitive first team.
Regarding crowds, it really doesn't help that we're homeless at the minute. Honestly our attendances were pretty decent last season considering we were brutal to watch at times and playing up in Maryhill.
There's room for growth, last season for example the club gave away free tickets to primary schools and put buses on to get them to games. This sort of initiative will no doubt help get more people interested but the sooner we're in Lesser Hampden the better.
When is the expected move in date for Lesser Hampden? I walk past it most days and it's looking good, albeit missing a stand.

The idea of Lawson and Longridge doesn't fill me with much hope. I'd take a look at Balde that Arbroath signed in January, he's looked class each time I've seen him this season. Have we been openly linked with anyone aside from Stanger, Mutch and Ryan?
I've watched Dulwich Hamlet the last few seasons when I've been down to visit my mate in London, actually saw Faal that was on trial with us and he was a huge handful, bagged a goal as well. Worth revisiting him imo. Few other players like Bobby-Joe Taylor (Dorking), and Tafari Moore (ex-Arsenal youth) were good against Hamlet. I see that Prince Henry we were linked with last season is a free agent now...
