would Sharp resigning suggest Legdzinz will be first choice keeper again?
"Between the sticks" has never been personified more accurately...

Looks as if they have over estimated the capacity.
And the size of the pitch if we're playing 4 a side with a backie -in goalie...

the total arrogant indifference is maybe the most difficult to stomach. I don't t think there's been anything since they sacked Bowyer. Apart from the pitch getting done.

If only they'd had a decent candidate already on the books..

Do you think Nelms regrets falling out with Bowyer at this stage?
I'm steeling myself here. I think he'd probably take the job himself rather than go back to Bowyer, even though we're in this situation.

Think this is the main reason why it's most likely destined to fail. New manager comes through the door and he has to prove the doubters wrong rather than, for example, when Bowyer came in people were more open minded and keen to see what he can do.
That's the nub of this I think. The previous duds ie McIntyre and McGhee were dreadful appointments, but were made sort of understandable because things were shite before and it was a bit of a last throw of the dice gamble.
This is different.
If this goes tits up they have taken probably the best situation to rebuild well that the club has had in years and chucked it away with an appointment that looks lazy and jobs for the boys.

as the powers that be have previously managed to display the singular talent of taking a situation that seems as bad as it can possibly be and making it worse, when can we expect McGhee announced as Assistant Manager / Head Coach?
(and probably head of recruitment)

I'm hoping this is a bad dream..

A really underhand bit of work if things have progressed as laid out above.
Shameful.
If another crap appointment like McGhee or McIntyre turns up with the inevitable consequences it would almost be worth swapping my season ticket back to the main stand just to see the abuse.

Those p***ks better not f**k things up now.
They have previously demonstrated an uncanny ability to take a situation that seemed as bad as it could possibly be and make it worse.
Bowyer's appointment about the only exception to that.

We did just keep trying the same thing - playing through the forest of Cove players clogging up the box.
It was like fkin pinball watching it bounce back out.
It did feel like there must surely be some kind of other plan to try.
But you're forgetting it was Sweeney who was again and again charging at the defence.
I'm afraid a bit of sarcasm is my lot.

I struggle to remember defending as shit as the second goal McGhee just stops and looks at him. It's a truism that no matter how bad United are doing Dundee will manage to do worse. I was born in 1965 and that has maybe not been true for about 3 years since then

First game since Partick. Do we just give the opposition 2 goals in the first half now?

Good to see the communication between the keeper and the back line has been sorted out...

If Maloney doesn’t decide by tomorrow? Then Dundee should tell him to take a hike and move on to the next eejit willing to take the job
It seems they're having trouble finding any eejit willing to take it...

It's a shame McPake's first name wasn't Jake.

100% this. I fully expect 1 of those 2 to be in charge next season. Nelms needs to bin those 2 and WGS.
Someone needs to bin Nelms.

Almost all of them are contracted for next season.
And so the shambles will continue. Until sometime other than Mr Nelms starts making the decisions..

Down we go. Keeper was giving indications all through the first half of what would eventually happen.
Woeful after the first half hour, no threat at all in the second half.
Wouldn't be sad not to see many of those guys next year...
