Anything other than Regan would be a bit of a let down now surely.

That's not what you said though. You said we escaped relegation by goal difference. I think not, we escaped a two legged play off against cannon fodder. Raith are a team full of our fucking rejects, I think we know exactly how it would've panned out because believe it or not we've seen how shite your players are first hand.
So you should be beating the cannon fodder considerably then? I’ll keep my fingers crossed that the County players and staff have the same attitude.
Raith and County are both in this playoff for a reason.
With regards to the plastic pitch issue elsewhere in the thread, Raith, if we go up, have committed to replacing the surface with a grass pitch so it’s a non issue really.

Does he though? He doesn't come across as someone who has a particularly high bar set for what constitutes needle.
I recall Murray after the game at Starks talking about Morton having a definite game plan, and not wanting to get sucked into how the play as it stopped Rovers playing their game. Not sure it was particularly disrespectful.
Was their any handbags at the Cappielow game?
I genuinely can't remember anything being said online or in interviews in reference to Morton or Imrie at all.
Maybe he's upset he didn't make it into the go-kart poster?

I think there was quite a lot in that interview to talk about. Firstly, delighted Ian Murray has signed on but would be surprised if there isn’t a Premiership club type release clause if there was interest. Maybe not though.
There is clearly interest in some of our players but whether or not this is on a pre-contract agreement or a move in January we’ll have to wait and see. IF Dundee are interested in Easton (rumoured on here previously), surely something can be done with Byrne/Easton swap deal so maybe something will happen there.
It was interesting that when mentioning interest in players Murray immediately mentioned Vaughan, maybe I’m reading too much into it? Would be gutted to see Vaughan leave.
No news on O’Reilly and there was an article in the Courier about him having other offers. He’s back on the bench for us just now but is a very capable replacement. Probably wants and warrants more game time.

This formation is the problem for me. Always looks like we have no midfield.
think we’ve been treading the line and getting the luck in the previous few game - not really been playing “well”. Maybe a wee shake for them today.

Locke or Hughes would be the best choices for entertainment purposes but you’d definitely get relegated.
Who’s a genuine sensible choice though?

Any fan that travels to any game is a hero - fan bashing is shite patter
Genuinely wasn’t trying to.
Generally would have expected about 300-500. Clearly the Inverness fans are not happy so probably a matter of time before a change of regime if a similar pattern happens at home games.

Have to agree with the Byrne comments, I thought he was a standout today.
I realise they’re bottom of the league etc but about 60 fans down from Inverness today. Always considered them a bigger club but seem to be on a pretty major slide.

I’ve been at every game this season so far. In competitive action, other than the game against Cliftonville, I do t thing we have played “well” for 90 minutes in any of them.
if we’re top and playing shite, wonder what we’ll be like playing good…
we were dreadful first half and deserved to be down a goal I’d say. 2nd half we were by far the better side and got the goal we deserved. Well taken hammer!

I think this is the line up I’d have went with. Got to feel for Easton but who would you drop?
looking forward to this.

For what it’s worth the commentary team (who have the benefit of replays) admitted that the first penalty should not have been given. They did allude to the number of fouls being committed by Morton which dragged Raith into that style of play also.
I honest couldn’t be arsed with watching that all season though. Proper gang.
Well done Rovers
