Is it not Tuesday yet?
Absolutely buzzing for what will be my first visit to Firhill, think from a Raith point of view as long as we keep it tight like our last two games against Thistle then taking it back to Starks still with a game to play should be a priority. I think both sets of fans should be confident of getting through and for the neutrals surely this fixture just screams chaos over 2 legs? Honestly wouldn't be surprised if the final aggregate score was 6-6 and we went to penalties on Friday night.
In terms of Raith I've had a go at my own starting 11:
Kev
J. Brown, Murray, Corr, Dick
Matthews, Stanton
Mullin, Vaughan, Turner
Hamilton
That holding midfield pair is really hard to call, wouldn't be annoyed at Brown or Byrne coming in - maybe Byrne will with his playoff experience - but I just absolutely love Ross Matthews. Think Callum Smith will come on with around 60 to go instead of the usual Hamilton/Rudden swap and as impressive as McGill is going forward I think he'd only get a start over Dick if we're chasing the game. Going to a go for a shitebag 1-1 prediction tomorrow evening setting up an absolute cracker on Friday.

Don't think this is a massive deal, Ruaridh obviously doesn't come across very well but there are many shady techniques that bookies use and as the 'William Hill SPFL Championship' begins in the next few months I can't imagine any intervention.
I would, however, not like to see Fanwave Digital on any of our kits next season.

Courier reporting that we're "weighing up summer moves for Hibs legends Paul Hanlon and Lewis Stevenson".
I think I've seen this film before...

One thing about the game last night though is that Megwa was superb at keeping Fitzpatrick quiet and Murray should be using his Hibs links to get him in on loan next season if he isn't in their plans.

If Northampton Town is willing, I suspect he’ll be back there again for the final year on this contract, but St. Mirren isn’t playing a bad hand here, as Fulham might decide a change of venue is necessary to evaluate Kieron more completely.
I'm sure I had read the Northampton gaffer believed that Bowie and Marc Leonard (another young Scottish loanee) were too good to return to Northampton next season. https://www.ntfc.co.uk/news/2024/april/jb_180424/

Walton
Megwa, Holt, Gallagher, McMann
Fotheringham, Stanton, Docherty, Easton
Paton, Graham
Moult could swap out for either striker but thought it would be harsh to drop Paton doing so well in a shite Queens side and Graham is just the best striker in the league. Otoo getting in some folks teams is mad.

Our top scorer has to start here. Vaughan and Rudden together for the first 55-60 then Hamilton on after.

Had 4 in the basket, had to put names in for every ticket and they were gone by the time I pressed pay.
If I was paying Tony Watt 5 grand a week then I'd be looking for as much cash as I can get

One thing that really frustrated me on Saturday was how we set up to defend set pieces - 11 men in the box.
Absolutely no outlet which is baffling when Jack Hamilton looks to be the only one who can win a header in a Raith top, so when the ball is cleared it's like we're giving them another chance at a ball in which cost us against Livi too. Why are we doing this??

Thinking of heading along, any good pubs en route to the ground?

For me being a happy clapper, I like to see the highlights without commentary then a clip of the goal(s) with commentary on Twitter the next day. Everyone's a winner!

Ian Murray would be a disaster at Hibs which is why I can see it happening. Maybe McCabe is a shout though? Or be sensible and bring back Jack Ross?
