  1. Fair point but the pair of them have, more often than not, flattered to deceive. :(

Anderson should have won but lost the plot. However, I still think he's a million times more likely to win a match than Thornton. Boab looks an average player at best who isn't anywhere near consistent enough against the top players.

  2. In the end the only way he could go out last night was if Del Potro won two sets very comfortably to Federer but lost one narrowly. That's exactly what happened.

Indeed. If you'd scripted a film called "Let's Get Murray Out In The Most Agonising Way Possible" I'm sure most Hollywood producers would have rejected it for being too far fetched. Watching the match it felt like almost every point which needed to go a certain way went that way. The first two sets needed to be split with Potty winning his easily and Fed winning in a tie-break, it of course happened exactly like that. However, the icing on the cake of this farce was surely Rogers "collapse" at 3-3 in the 3rd. The stupid twerp only needed to take one of 3 break points but couldn't manage it. Well, at least he'll hold serve as he has been solid for the last hour or so of play. Low and behold it's the worst service game of the week and Murray is as good as out.

Of course it wasn't a fix but it sure as hell felt like it as the nightmare script unfolded to perfection :(

  3. I remember it being brought up when the roof was coming over Wimbledon and stuff, and he beat Nadal 6-4 6-4 at the O2 Arena. Is he really a top contender when it comes to playing indoors ?

For me Nadal is a shadow of his former self. It should have been no major surprise that "The Sod" was able to overpower him. The way Nadal has played on tour since he was 16 has always pointed towards a limited shelf life. You simply can't rip the ball around and run as much as he has for ever. He puts so much into each point in each game it's no surprise to now see him running out of juice. He'll either retire by the time he's 25 or change his game. Either way I see him losing many more matches than in the past.

  4. Murray beats Del Potty 6/3,3/6,6/2 in opening match of the Masters Series Finals at O2 in London. Good game and nice to see Murray trying to be a bit more aggressive at times. Potty had a spell of about a set and a bit where all his monster forehands were coming off but he cooled down in the third. Murray has two other matches to play against Federer and Verdasco.

  5. what was the point of hamilton's last three darts

No idea. It was like being 4-2 down in a penalty shoot out after 4 kicks and still trying to make it 4-3.

  6. I'm hoping to get the DVD for Christmas

What is it that bugs you so much with "The Wizzard"

Anderson 3-1 up at the break and cruising

Ando wins 5-2. Still in 3rd/4th gear (his words) and plenty more to come. Wariner rates him as the favourite in the bottom half of the draw.

  7. She seems to drop a lot of darts way below the treble than her male competitors do. I don't know if that's to do with lack of muscle or what not but she needs to sort that in her game to compete better at this level.

Is there really any physical reason why a woman shouldn't be able to compete with the men ? The only thing which is probably holding Anastasia back is all the years she spent playing rotten women who she could beat with a 70 average. Not sure if it's already too late for her to make a major impact. She needs to do well to stand still.

  8. Webster wins it 5-2 and books his place in the Last 16.

Anastasia played well in parts but too many poor visits. She's certainly a million times better than that Dutch growler who got creamed 5-0 by "The Artist".

  9. Ach, pish - I've heard Jocky Wilson done it for you every time ;):P:lol:

Serious question...is Jocky Wilson still alive ? Is he ever seen in public ? Does he still play darts or do any appearances ?
