I watched the interview and didn't come away with the impression that no further players will sign.
Some of the academy players - MacKenzie and Stanway - look promising. That's good.
Some loans are taking a bit longer to materialise...so what?
The Ayr manager and members of their board held a Q&A the other night where they confirmed that they're relying on the loan market, meaning that players are are unlikely to arrive until closer to the first league game.
We'll be in the same boat. People need to be patient.

Anyone who was there - how did Williams look?
No better than okay.

no doubt the everyone’s great brigade will jump on my back for this, but hopefully a few signings are on there way. If no, no matter how good Doolin is, we are in trouble.
Don't understand why, all of a sudden, some people aren't expecting new faces.

Expecting Stanway to follow in the footsteps of MacKenzie by signing a pro contract on the back of his successful loan at Airdrie and recent impressive performances.

Doc appears to have opted for a 'hard' look since signing for United. Erse.

Daft question that i could probably check with the club tbf, but i paid for a season ticket (new) at the start of the month after payday and just wonder if anyone here has already received theirs if buying new - How long roughly will it take to arrive? Im assuming ST sales are healthy so perhaps a bit of a backlog.
Got time til the new season anyway but ill call the club end of next week if ive not got it to see if its in the post.
My physical ticket arrived yesterday.

Unsurprising, but still disappointing. Hopefully won’t be playing against any of them next season.
You're going to be disappointed when Dundee United unveil Docherty and Holt.

Did any of you buy the 22/23 kit and able to say whether O'Neill's are small made?
We've gone with O'Neill's for this season and I want to buy one for my son but our previous kit manufacturer were known to be small made, I'm just wary
The strips run true to size. The training wear can run smaller than normal, though.

There's every chance many of our key players will stay.
Muirhead and Bannigan are the only out-of-contract players we're likely to keep.
I wouldn't offer the latter a new deal, but I doubt Doolan wants to go into the new season with an entirely new central midfield.

If 'Partick Thistle man' Ian McCall fancies scouting for the club then I'm all for it. Director of Football? No.

Absolutely comical stuff.
He doesn’t realise what he’s admitting here. That’s the clincher for me.
i.e. that the board wasn't operating on a break-even basis as claimed previously.
He's a clown.

Most people seem to be agreeing with you, but what I saw was a Celtic player sliding in; misses the ball, misses the player, Rangers player stands on his foot, then falls down holding his shin.
Did you see something different.Everyone else saw something different.

I've never seen a side more haunted by the spectre of administration than Inverness tonight.

I imagine we might lose some sponsors who were Low's pals. Marie Macklin for one liked to white knight for Low on twitter and claim misogyny on her behalf and Macklin Motors sponsor the centenary fund car prize draw.
You'd have to think 90% of people who sponsor a club like Thistle though as just fans who own a business or just a local company like the Woodside and others do.
Marie Macklin's into construction and urban regeneration rather than cars.

There's nothing passive about it. It's full-on aggressive fan blaming. F*ck them.

I see him getting shifted into a role as a mentor for the likes of Graham and/ or Bannigan.
Such a move would be unjustifiable.

This is mainly from recent games and is mainly my opinion tbh, but Brian Graham looking... creaky in matches, alarmingly reminds me more and more of Chris Erskine towards the end of his time at the club
I don't remember Erskine averaging (around) a goal every two games at that point.
I dread to think where we'd be without his goals given how woeful our defence has been since day one and our midfield of late.

These guys are bellends. Maclennan has always struck me as an arrogant pr*ck and this latest Q&A confirms it.

In my opinion boycotts/demonstrations will result in nothing. I don’t think the wider Thistle support will get on board while the team are doing so well. This is a big problem for TJF.
Who's advocating that?

Stop obsessing on what they are doing and come up with a strategy of how TJF are going to win control of the shares.
I'm not sure if you think you're replying to a member of the TJF board here. You aren't.
On your point, it's possible to devise and execute a strategy while continuing to ask pertinent and important questions.
But if you think those actions are mutually exclusive then it's important that the rank and file membership of TJF, and anyone else with an interest or concern about how the share transfer is being managed, to continue to ask those probing questions.

I was asked to join TJF. They have to show me why I should. They have sat on their hands for a month...
What action should it be taking, in your opinion?

Oh, sorry.
The 'loan market will be explored, but nearer the end of the window'.
Hopefully that's a truer reflection of what was communicated.
