Do you not have nine loans at the moment, the bulk of who played against us on Saturday? That's not great.

We have the following signed for next season: Carson, McGhee, Shaughnessy, Portales, Lamie, Mulligan, McCowan, Cameron, Sylla, Tiffoney, Main, and signed Astley for a fee from Everton. The majority of those players are first team. We will clearly need to try and retain some of the loan players or sign more loan players, that seems to be our model. But we’re not in a desperate situation.  We also have two signed back up goalkeepers. I’ve probably missed a few other players.

  2. Some team the Doc has built. The core are signed for next season as well despite the doom and gloom around the amount of loan signings. Clearly need to add depth but very good time to be a Dee!

DJ was man of the match followed closely by Sylla, McCowan, and Dodgson IMO. Brilliant team performance.

Clement is fast unravelling. He’ll be gone mid next season. Tee-hee.

But Dens Park (the actual pitch) isn't on Dens Road. It's elevated up the hill from it.

Also you're exaggerating massively about Dens Road flooding. Only time I've seen it mental was a flash flood a few years ago. Even with the storms last year it was fine.

Still, anything that gets the Sevco scum raging is good.

That’s honestly nonsense. My parents live next to dens road and it’s a clusterfuck of flooding all the time.

  4. Not sure what the issue is to be honest. When you’ve got fans who’ve supported a club for most of their life, that recognition is surely worthy? I may be interpreting this thread incorrectly, but if not, what’s the issue? You have a choice whether to clap or not?

  5. Probably ruffle a few feathers with this but I’m not a fan of Mitov. He’s clearly a very good shot stopper but I think his distribution and kicking is poor, and he always looks very erratic. Just lacks a calming presence for me. Maybe I’m being harsh because I don’t see a lot of him but just based on observation from games we’ve played.

Sidibeh is an absolute menace but his general play is poor. He’s one that could be a good player though in time.

Fair play to the st Johnstone fans in that corner next to the away end, they keep singing regardless of what’s going on. Even after our second went in they continued to maintain an atmosphere.

The other red flag is our clean sheets, we're worst in the league and managed 10% (3 games), next worst, Aberdeen/Livi on 16%/17% (5 games). The two teams we were looking to overhaul for top 6 are on approx. 30% (9 games and 3x better) and one of those has Ricki Lamie as a mainstay.

Lamie hasn’t played much for us. A combination of injury and the form of other players has meant he’s not played a lot.

  7. Not at our best at all, but really good win. For as much as St.Johnstone presssured us, I didn’t ever feel they cut us open. Tons of balls into the box which can be dangerous as it just takes a stramash to score, but they don’t look coached at all. Just shite and turgid, no disrespect. I think they will stay up though.

For us, win against Motherwell and I think we’ll get top 6.
