Suppose the upside of getting emptied in the semi, not having to return to that shit-tip in the middle of a shit-tip with shite transport options.
I forgot what a shit stadium it is. I have been to 4 Roman amphitheatres in the last year and Hampden isn't much more advanced

Away fans allowed as well?
Think so. Although it's an interesting conceptual consideration as they share a stadium...

I'm just gonna say that being in a position where the league has to actively avoid a title deciding match is an embarrassment on the country and society
Incidentally, Inter can win the Italian title tonight against AC Milan.

Was it not just a case of him failing to sort his feet out as the pass from Dessers was kind of straight at him instead of in front of him to take in his stride rather than a dive looking for a penalty? At the match he didn’t seem to be appealing for anything, he just had his head in his hands for presumably spurning a great opportunity to score.
Hahahahahah. No. Seriously. Get a grip
Even being charitable and saying that's the issue, you don't fling your arms up if you're sorting your feet. You use them to regain balance rather than further put your gravity off-center and falling.
How broken must your brain must be as a striker if your first reaction is to dive rather than try and finish it.

This quote from a Hearts fan on the BBC website this morning. Eleven points ahead of fouth with fifteen points to play for. Fitba fans, eh?
Chris: This game highlights the mentality needed to compete at the top level; we just don’t have it. We have no real spark, Shankland is blowing cold and if anyone thinks third place in the league is a gimme then watch this space. It’s going to be a nervy run in.
I thought the BBC vetted the fans now so that only vaguely sensible and coherent people were offering opinions? This lad sounds like he's still mangling his jaw after his half time trip to the toilets.

Nah, Vince wouldn't be able to write so much without getting irate about the mere existence of Livi

I think we can file this one under "good" rather than "great"
Yeah. Yes agree. Would have been nice to have got a cup, but I do feel we are building something good.

The whole thing seems to bother you more than it does anyone else on this forum mate. Unsure as to why you give a shit so much.
Just wait till he gets started on Livingston

So that's the season almost over bar farting over the line into 3rd

I know I can't stand the obvious biases on show, but I'll give Willie Miller a pass for chuckling in the background when Joe Hart fluffed his penalty

Don't feel too bad about that one, to be honest.
In the League Cup semi we lacked any kind of plan and were just pushed aside. That was different today.
Rangers didn't really bother us a lot more than we bothered them, and Ifelt there was a clear plan for how Hearts were going to explot them in the wide areas. But when we got into good positions there was a lot of poor decision-making in terms of final pass, and basic errors like poor first touch. To win games like that you need to execute your opportunities, and Hearts failed to do that. But I think we were in the game until the second goal and it was a decent enough punt at it.
You're always second favouritesagainst the OF, and you need things to go right. Ultimately, we lost two unbelievably cheap goals in a game where we were rarely troubled apart from that. But you need to do more when you get into good positions, and that's what cost us.
Could have been worse. It's been a good season and we just need to go and see out third now.
Yeah this is generally what I feel. On balance, Rangers deserved to win but it's not like we didn't have chances and if we'd been more clinical up front and less dozy at the back on another day we might have won

3 minutes seems light even based on the subs.....
You would question if it would be 3 minutes if the scores had been reversed

Thing about C*ntwell is he goes down softly and wears a hairband so referees don't think he's capable of commiting dirty fouls

Well, we're due a win against the Rangers generally, due one against them at Hampden generally, and I haven't seen a Hearts win in person in like forever.
I've travelled up for the day especially, so better do it Hearts

James Forrest showed up when it mattered today, despite being written off numerous times by our supporters. If Maeda is out then Forrest should start ahead of Yang until the end of the season.
Most times when I see a Celtic line up all players give me the fear. Except Yang.

This is up there with Queen of the South and the Rogic final. Absolutely heartbroken after that. Still in Glasgow. 3 and a half hours to get home. 13hr round trip for f**k all. Its the hope that kills you.
Kudos to the celtic fans that left straight after the shootout and were taunting aberdeen fans as we headed back to our buses. Classy as always.
Definitely feel your pain. The 3-3 in the covid cup final still upsets me 4-ish years on.
On your second point though, sounds like pretty standard fan behaviour, grow up. If the shoe was on the other foot, you'd be doing likewise. If they're throwing stuff as they are want to do sometimes, then fair enough that's out of order, but rubbing it in (particularly after a tense match) is, well, normal

Another dive. Is gravity not a available in Japan?
To be fair, Barron's swan dive in the run up to the goal would have embarrassed a Celtic player

That’s a penalty.
If it's not a penalty (as it is outside the box), then surely logically it was a free kick? Or do soft handballs only apply in the box?
Also, anyone else think that for all of McDonald's dallying, Kyogo actually pushes him over?

I wasn’t going to go because I thought I’d left it too late to get decent tickets
At Hampden the concept of "decent seats" is a relative term

After today's games it went something like this before I turned off "Comfortable win in the end for Celtic but it was nervy for a while. Bobby Madden, can you give us your thoughts on the penalty in last week's Rangers v Celtic game."
Oh man. I zoned out at one point and was just so baffled why they were talking about it

It is near unlistenable now. The constant strive for 'debate' is excruciating.
Because of the top 6, OAM was actually quite listenable today. However at one point I'm pretty sure KMac said something like "how about the technology then" FFS.
VAR isn't perfect, but we don't need to fucking debate it all the fucking time

No, no, no, no, no.
Four per ST holder would mean tickets going to lassies from work folk are trying to impress, folk's uncles who have never been to a game, or just being sold on to f**k knows who. Absolutely no guarantee the tickets go to Hearts fans.
And you'd end up with loads of ST holders not getting in. Not everyone who goes to watch Hearts has lots of other mates who also do. You'd have some groups hoovering up tickets to give out to mates while some ST holders missed out. That would even happen at two each. Remember, offering even two each means some ST holders miss out if 5,500 take up the second one. You'd have ST holders and non-ST holders with good LP totals not going to the game while day-trippers who had mates with STs could get in. That would completely undermine the LP system. Even in my own extended group of mates I can think of about ten people who have barely been for years who would be texting asking for the spares.
That won't be happening.
I reckon they should start at 5 points as that's what it dropped to last time. Lets everyone buy together rather than waiting for different stages for mates etc. But I wouldn't be surprised if it starts at 20 again. Depends how many are at each LP level, I suppose.
Pretty pleased with how the club have managed it generally. I have decided to answer the call - partially for the good of Scottish football. If it was another club with the opportunity to get a 50/50 split against the OF I'd actually buy a ticket.
Anyway, a day trip up from the South to see Hearts hopefully break our Hampden Rangers hoodoo.... Hopefully we manage to sell out. Lots of uncertainty about how much we actually have left - I've seen as much as 6k quoted and as low as 2k?!
