Personally really looking forward to next season, think we’ve got a really solid start to our team and squad building and we will be in a much more forgiving league. There will be new grounds to visit, more than likely a derby with Montrose again to look forward to and I imagine there’ll be plenty more happy Saturday afternoons than there has been this season or last.
On McIntyre, no over the moon with it but it doesn’t take much to change my mind or anyone else’s minds. If he signs well and we get a few positive performances and results then it all changes quite quickly
Fair comment 1320….happy if JM turns it round….as my missus tells me im no often right so happy to be on the wrong side of this next season..!
think we all need a break and come back refreshed next season hopefully with some familiar faces and new blood that cheers us up…especially me..!

However the meeting isn’t the start and end of it.For example sure I heard Gats dropped because he let a few in and vice versa…yet our loan goalie is the No 1 despite shipping 5 the game before….maybe picked that up wrong as well

Appreciate the old war horses cannae carry on for ever but to largely kick them to the kerb - en masse it seems - doesn’t sit well.
JM said Gats dropped for letting a few in…multiply by a big number for Boruc yet now he is undroppable..
The board for me want all of us to now weesht and leave them be.
JM (and the board?) clearly had written this season off some time ago ergo the JM comments midweek.
Duncan Ferguson was incorrect in his assessment ..its the manager that has chucked it not the players….at least JM has a job next season more than a lot of the players have

All said and done JM seems to have zero support amongst the fans which means his support is from the Board clearly.
Clearly they are not listening to their customers.
Crowds are down and I imagine so are merch sales.
but aye give him the close season and a (nother) good slug of games in his pursuit of “top 4” in the lower league.

Our goodwill is being eroded and “what we’re all about” getting re-adjusted in other eyes.
Lets be honest “our story” was pedalled for all it’s worth a couple of years ago.
Hope the senior board is paying attention here and not glibly hiding behind our “we are part time veneer so it’s aw right”…..this shows a distinct lack of class and I am sure Calum is a bit unhappy at this having been a major part of Airdries story.
Misscommunication…aye right …Our Board needs to be mindful of blowing everything that everyone has worked so hard to achieve.
apologies for the rant but FFs can we no even get this bit of good news right.
Makes us look exactly what we don’t want to look like or what the board maybe think we are not…amateur.

Appreciate the ba is burst but jeezy peeps…. Accept there could be a bit of a thought that JM was dealt a rough hand but do we really think he can reset and get us back on track…nah not me either.

It’s dreadful, we need some leadership from somewhere and would hope the Board have the nouse to read the room and do something, maybe even communicate with the fans in a way that says “we’ve got this”.
Preparation for L1 should already be underway so we can as far as possible hit the deck running my fear is the opposite happens and it gets worse…
For me give the job to Goldie now (if he wants it that is) and a’body would at least rally round and perhaps lift the mood for a few games.
I guess it all had to come to an end it’s just a bit heartbreaking that it’s a shambles rather than a brave effort.

Utd are better we get that.
All the games against them though this season we have been weak which is not in keeping with us.
Can accept a defeat if the players give everything but yesterday they didn’t (apart from Boruc). Yesterday -again - could easily have been double figures and that is simply not acceptable.
i worry for what happens next season and I hope our Board are too as not so long ago we were 12 minutes away from potentially winning the league and have collapsed completely to this - what’s the plan?

Defeat today would have been damaging.
First game in a while, away from home, bodies back, minutes in legs, full bench (!)….all to play for.

Balde back is a good move…let’s no make him out as the Devil…we have all made mistakes.
Imagine he had the stuffing knocked out of him, taken it on the chin and making a name for himself at EK.

Wasn’t sure tbh if they had it in them to raise their game.
They did that last night …and some.
Going to have to scrap for everything just like last night but feel more hopeful for the remainder of the season if they can replicate that performance and desire.

Good to see our Manager at FT stay and acknowledge the fans/punters…..is what I wanted to say…. but no he’s away up the tunnel as quickly as possible not even a look back …says a lot.
doesnt feel to me that he understand the values of the club.
not heard a single good word about him before he signed/when he signed and up to now… yet the Board (or someone on the board) believe in their heads and hearts that he will turn it around after a holiday and a pre-season.
jeezy peeps WTF is going on.
And as for dead rubbers…..where’s the pride for goodness sake.
Managers responsibility end of and it’s clear he isn’t a good fit here….get rid and get rid soon otherwise it will be another crap season.
