Does anyone know which date the league is scheduled to return on in January?

Took in the game as a neutral tonight too and Dumbarton were thoroughly deserved victors, as they were in the first leg I watched on tv. Durnan at the back, Ruth up front and Newbury in midfield all excelled. You could make the argument however that Spartans right back Kieran Watson was man of the match. Modern day fullbacks can look good going forward, as he did, but thought he was first class all night with his defensive duties too - brilliant performance! Bring on next season already!

Clyde FC Season 24/25

I wondered if Makenzie Kirk would be a decent shout. Certainly tore up the Lowland League before being allowed to head to Accies on loan. Didn't really get a sniff with them, understandably so given that they were doing so well in L1 with (ongoing) aspirations of Championship football. Might be worth getting on a year long deal, or at least 6 months to test the waters, as with the other positions starting to look pretty rosy all round for the club, this might be the perfect opportunity for him to excel within the SPFL environment. -
Lowland League General Discussion

Absolute farce from the SFA! They have a deadline, knew it wasn’t licensed by then and knew that they didn’t apply for a period of grace by 31st March. Buckie may have made an error, but the sheer incompetence is with the SFA who should have announced this the very next day! It literally reads like they’ve only just discovered this loophole! What an absolute shambles! -
I've already ordered tickets online for this - can't wait! Will also have one eye on the Highland League battle whilst down there.

With the final week being the 4th May, and with tier 5 clubs ending their season on the 20th April, are the HFL v LL play offs on the 27th Apr and 4th May, with the winner at home to Club 42 on 11th May and away on 18th May?

MacKenzie Kirk in spite of leaving in mid season almost has to make the team. Cammy Ross also been outstanding particularly in the cup game against East Kilbride. John Robertson surely belongs in this company up front too. Saw Sean Fagan at Albion before his move to EK and he was a real stand out.

Jumping the gun here by a few weeks, but which players would you have making up the team of the season. Feel free just to nominate players from your own team if its too much a challenge to form an all star 11.

Brilliant to see a venture such as this that will benefit the entire community, particularly with some of these listed very worthy groups getting access for free. -

You've knocked the wind (and any optimism I had) right out my sails. -
Took in tonight's game as a neutral - was bitterly disappointed in Lochee Utd. Just seemed so incredibly lacklustre from start to finish in a match that should have meant so much.........not to take anything away from Broughty who scored 3 without reply, 2 of which were sublime. Have to say one or two of their coaches didn't help - we were over that side of the ground and they were bouncing up and down for 90 solid minutes contesting every single decision - there's a time and a place for that if you're picking your battles, but very little evidence of supporting a struggling team (on the night anyway) with any real substance or tactical guidance. Hopefully it's just a bad day at the office - can't be too harsh on an otherwise superb season, just strange timing to not appear to be up for the fight.

According to Stoneyburn's twitter feed, a 3G pitch is set to be installed at Beechwood Park. A welcome addition - whilst clubs like Lochgelly in EOS 3rd division have played 21 games, Stoneyburn have played the fewest league fixtures with just 14. They have had 6 home league postponements alone thus far this season - 5th Aug (Linton), 7th Oct (Pumpherston), 21st Oct (Hawick), 30th Dec (W Calder), 20th Jan (Linton), and 24th Feb (Livingston). -

Are tickets already sold out for the Accies game in midweek? Been checking site past couple of weeks and notice there is a link for the Falkirk game on it which is a later date. -
Broughty Athetic v Lochee Utd now confirmed for 27th March at 7:30pm on the Scottish junior fa website. Dates for the Quest quarters also now listed.
