Pubs there is plenty the main ones probably still being Cue Here and The West Fan that fans use (apologies if I’m missing one). The stadium also has a bar.

A decent burger though your probably better bringing one with you. Plenty places that do pub grub around the town centre.

    Great thanks very much!

I see MacLean is saying both McPherson and Kane are getting injections to try and speed up their issues and that Clark is another 10 days away from coming back to training. It’s going to be end of September by the time we see any of these guys by the looks of it! Plus with Drey Wright taking a knock on Saturday, we literally have no pace up front. Whoever he’s trying to bring in better be an Olympic grade sprinter at this rate, or we just unleash Dare further forward for the fun of it.

Hopefully Drey makes Saturday. Looks like he’s after another midfielder, winger and a striker! I assume the midfielder is Krasniqi so long as he continues to impress MacLean.

Your understanding is correct.  It’s the highest place proper club that is declared champions.  The final league table counts all points, including against B teams.  So a team can win the league cos they played a B team who had taken their best players out the side when their nearest rivals had to play them at full strength.

Thanks for confirming! Yeah seems completely unfair in regards to what players the old firm choose to play.  Hopefully they find a better solution as it’s the rest of the Lowland League who suffer!

  4. Hi all,

Hoping someone can help shed some light on the Lowland League for me. I have been following for a while but still can’t get my head around how it all works (apologies if this has been covered elsewhere I am sure it probably has, I just didn’t know where!)

    - My understanding is that Celtic, rangers and hearts teams can’t get promoted or relegated.  What happens if in a hypothetical situation the those 3 teams finished top 3, would it then be the team who finishes 4 who is deemed the champions and would go into a playoff with the highland league winner?

    - Secondly, if my above assumption is correct…what happens to the points teams accumulate/lose against these 3 teams throughout the season? Do they count towards the overall final league position? I realise this is probably a stupid question but just trying to make sure I fully understand it! 😄

    thanks

  5. Hi everyone!

1st time post, I have been following the forum for a while so thought it was about time I joined in.

What would you say the best hospitality experience in the Scottish Premiership is and why?

As a Saints fan, I have only ever been to McDiarmid Park which I thought was a fantastic experience. 3 hours of access to the bar before the game, nice 4 course meal, half time pie and then access to the bar for an hour after too!  Seats were comfy and staff were friendly making it good value for money (think about £130) in my opinion.

I am keen to try another one with my friends this season, so would love to hear your thoughts!

Apologies if a thread has already been created on this, admin feel free to delete if so :)

    Cheers!
