Next day sober analysis of our exceptional first 70 minutes against Celtic. Credit to Alfie for slightly roughing up the Celtic left-back, Alex Valle (on loan from Barcelona): - 1-0 up: Alfie briefly held onto Valle's shirt, keeping Valle away from our shot. - 2-1 up: Alfie lightly caught Valle in the face with the very end of his hand, but Valle being the Spain-trained player he is, wrongly chose to theatrically throw himself to the floor instead of trying to keep up with Alfie's run. Our positive attacking play and good attitude involved way more than the above, I'm just commenting on how we got the goals. When Celtic brought on Engels, his £11m transfer fee is FOUR TIMES our entire club's annual revenues from 2022/23.

What the fk. This game is ridiculous. Summary so far... Our two-touch disallowed penalty goal. Absolutely batter their goal; they had zero shots for most of the game. We had a man sent off. Then two late goals so far, score 1-1. I'm not at the game, but have a decent bet on us winning overall, inclusive of any penalty shootout.

Scottish Cup Final build-up on BBC. Ten minutes ago, pitch-side, Neil McCann mentioned some Scottish Cup finals he'd played in, for Rangers. Then he summarised "The Scottish Cup has been really lucky for me." Neil McCann: what an insufferable tier one bellend. He's memory wiped himself of being one of our highest paid players in the 2009 Scottish Cup Final yet missed two key chances for us. He's never once mentioned the 2009 final or any remorse from it in any of the numerous times that I've seen him talk about his prior Scottish Cup experiences during his media duties. Arsehole. McGlynn is on a TWO year contract. At the limited level of the third tier, why should ANY of these cash-strapped clubs be handing out multi-year contracts to any manager who NEWLY took over their club? Huge improvement versus our prior game against a Championship team (Dundee) just three months ago. From looking awful against Dundee to confidently taking on Ayr, it was a huge difference. Inverness are currently two places BELOW Ayr... let's get at them, and get revenge for the 2015 Scottish Cup final.

We were sitting nearby and it was a barrage of abuse at players. It's not supporting your team to be constantly on our players' backs... far less after just twenty something minutes. Late in the second half, once we were back in the lead, there were two guys in seperate groups that gave some verbals back to the two fannies that they should STFU.
