If we go 442 with Gogic in central defence, he would be worth a try our as a right sided midfielder.

Exactly how I saw last nights game . Though I think the grass may have been allowed to grow that wee bit longer .

I've not seen him play , but left footed players can play centre half , between a right footed central defender and a left footed central defender in a back three .

Can see Strapp signing soon . He can fit in at left back and cover left central defence . We do though need a solid midfielder and another attacking option . Wonder who we have lined up to strengthen the central defence if big Dec goes.

I get that feeling. I still think it's the guy Presley as it refers to a deal done with his club . Still I think now that we have added Mandron , McMenamin and Nahmani we are not in a hurry . Think we need to sign a couple of defenders now .

Uche,s goalscoring record at Hearts was poor , but he was a big nuisance and actually had decent ball control , he could probably do a job for us . Wondering what's going on in Robbo,s mind as he puts the squad together. Think we need a couple of defenders .

As part of the official signing process I want to see a film clip of wooden crate being delivered , with a big question mark on the front and the crate being smashed open for the mystery striker to step out dressed in a Saints strip and walk up to a desk with Robbo and Lasley sitting on it to put pen to paper . Not made my mind up on what music I would have for the clip .

On today's performance I saw the potential for LJ to play on the right hand side of midfield or even in Strains position. Looked strong ,confident and made good passes .

Quite often it's the misfit shots that gets the goals. That said , I,ve got a feeling that it could be Greive or Olusanya going out on loan this transfer window if " the mystery striker signs " .

We moved on high earners and I'm guessing the guys we have brought in are on less wages so I,m thinking at the very least there will be two more signing until others move on . So I'm thinking Strapp and Pressley incoming .

Woukd have been very happy if we signed both Strapp and Marshall instead of Dunne .

Im normally a positive poster , but after watching us against Montrose I am now a bit concerned. Our defence doesn't look solid and still needs sorted . Our midfield didn't move the ball well , and our forwards looked powderpuff . As for recruitment to date , it seems a tad scattergun . We need to beat Arbroath on Saturday and should do so ,but if we don't, we,re going to struggle big time this season .

Mandron actually won a lot in the air on Saturday, but didn't seem to direct his headers well . Hopefully there will be some improvement there . Fingers crossed big Aaron signs . We do look a good fit for him .

I think we will end up with Theirry Small back . Also think we are still chasing Bedeau and will bring a midfielder in on loan . Hope we can keep hold of Baccus this transfer window . Look forward to confirmation of our mystery signing , I'm guessing it's Aaron Pressley.

Was absolutely disgusted with Gardyne , the assault looked pre meditated , and I'm convinced Gardyne delibeeay hit him on the head at the next corner .

Can't mind if it was Tartan Special or Tennants lager advert . Certainly a seventies lager advert . -
For me it's horses for courses , can see him playing mainly as an attacker but much depends on how our other strikers do , as him on the left and Strain on the right might work too is we,re chasing a game . Different set ups are required for Different games and a players versatility allows for significant changes to formation mid game.

McMenamin can play on the right or on the left either as a winger or a wingback as well as through the middle as a striker. Whilst I think we would prefer to see him at the top end of the pitch , I think he's versatility will be hugely beneficial.

Exactly as I see it . Young guys need regular games every week and it makes sense to put them out on loan for the first half of the season . That said I round like to see Fraser Taylor and Ethan Sutherland feature at some stage against Montrose .

I think Strain could play right back in a back four , right back in a back five and right midfield in a four man midfield. Excellent right sided player in my opinion .

Would like us to try and keep Baccus and Strain this transfer window and target a strong start to the season .
