If the fee was more than £50 then I have no idea how we or Ross for that matter, has pulled that off!

    Sensational bit of business.

Could not agree more.  Complete diving shitehawk of a player who chucked it when he took the huff making excuses to stop turning up.

Can't argue much but I reckon Lynas isn't anywhere near the standard. He's been a squad player in the league below who occasionally looked out of his depth, so I don't think he is good enough to step up a league. I'd also like to assume (stupid I know) that the 3 remaining players aren't offered terms at all.

Interesting that Ross Maclean is listed as under contract too... are we likely to see him return??

Hopefully not, seems like he lost interest in us and used work as an excuse, perhaps not accurate but that is my feeling.  Would be frustrating to let him walk back in.  I also think we can do better now.

Put my money where my mouth is to be a true fan? I'm a season ticket holder, Sons Trust member, club corporate sponsor, the club's nominated builder, had my wedding at the stadium and have spent two decades throwing money at DFC. There's MY money. Now shut YOUR mouth, p***k.

    Good post.

His comments about putting money where the mouth is doesn't make sense.  I have had a season ticket for almost 40 years but don't make more than 7/8 home games a year.  I would imagine most people on here support the club with season tickets.

well well well im not surprised!!! get behind the manager and the players and stop the negativity!!! real fans will support the boss and the players and not stoop to these levels these guys will get us were we need to be. if we have any chance of playoffs this season a big change is needed from some of our so called fans

    Most likely Mr CL....?

You will soon see this isn't someone who is ever seen as being negative.

Less of the so called fans carry on, as mentioned in the thread, it was (allegedly!) someone more inside the club.

He's been decent but is he promotion-winning decent ?  It already looks to me that at best it will be more of the same, with most of those signed-up unlikely to get a gig with another league club and therefore happy to stay.

Won promotion literally less than one year ago.  So in theory, yes.

Local boy, no brainer for both parties.

There were shouts for Farrel to quit , walk, usual disgruntled comments followed by a shout for a change and bring on a particular  player , which was then followed by  " is said player shagging your wife , what has he done wrong " or words to that effect  . That was the comment in its entirety   .

Iv been given more abuse at the breakfast table .   Personally I think it's gone way over the top and has now created a smoke screen for how poor Saturdays result was .

What happened to sticks n stones , sure if it were the big two and everytime there was something aimed at the managers  ..they're would be empty stadiums . But because we're in such a small number it's easy to pin point folk and put blame.

Again we are living in the time of snowflake generation.

On the park , we're maybe about to see a team fight for their lives and watch the great escape........ failing that it could be far worse and keep sinking.

There are players in there , we need to go back to the style of play we witnessed at the beginning of the season .

No need for the personal comments aimed at the manager, but I was expecting it to be worse given the hush hush nature of it on here.  Although if there are circumstances with his family as suggested on here then I can see why it might have hit a bit harder.  I hope all is well.

I think the club have made an arse of this, surely this could have been dealt with privately.  Clearly people know the person in question.  The public statement makes our support look like bandits when in reality I could count 5/6 sour incidents in the last 40 years at best.

Does it really matter? If they were personal then it crosses a line. He’s doing the job he’s employed to do, some may not agree but no one should be getting personal about it.

Ultimately Faz was tasked with getting us into the play offs, right now we are there, if we finish 4th then it will be job done as far as our daft board are concerned. Finish below 4th and they will need to answer some serious questions from the fans.

Does not matter at the end of the day no, but some people might view them as out of order, others may not, we can't decide unless we know what they were.

Another example of the shambolic nature of DFC right now.

Matchday info post goes live on the website about 45 minutes ago advising that there will be limited disabled parking only on the stadium footprint and warning fans that cars causing an obstruction to the residents would be removed. 30 minutes later and they've changed it to parking available on site for £3.

This is probably a minor complaint if things were otherwise running well, but it points to a complete lack of professionalism from the club, It's not a typo. It's not parking £30 instead of £3. It's not the club twitter praising a player for taking a hard shit from outside the box that the keeper lets slip through his hands. When the info was posted initially? There was no on site parking for fans. Now? £3 as it was on Saturday.

So what changed? Why did we go from parking on Saturday to no parking tonight? And then back to parking tonight?

It's not a typo. So what is it?

We are clutching at straws if this is what we are resorting to sticking a boot in for.

Park outside the stadium in the surrounding streets and save yourself the £3.  Just don't park infront of anyones driveway on castle road.  Simple.

  9. Did we let too many people in yesterday?  People in home end unable to sit in their normal seats due to people being in them already.

Away end on the TV looked full too, couldn't see the stairs as people needed to stand on them as there was no seats available.

  10. No point shouting for the manager to go, it is not going to happen.

What should be happening is us seeing a half decent goalkeeper be signed.  Complete negligence going with Broun, he is nowhere near the level required to be a number 1.

Anyone noticed bold feasby has fair become the number 1 cheerleader since he got the role of looking after the ball boys?  He was number 1 heckler for years, constantly screaming nonsense and losing the rag.

Wallace isnt the most mobile, but carries a goal threat. Byrne will run all day but rarely scores.

I'm not convinced by our forward options. Need to hope that Ruth gets a consistent run in the team. MacLean is inconsistent, although him and Hilton were unplayable in the first half at Stenny. Its difficult to see how we line up when everybody is fit and available. Clearly a 3-5-2 is probably our best formation. The back 3 now takes care of itself with Durnan, Creighton and one of either Shiels or Lynas. I'd also have Blair Malcolm in the side ahead of Ryan Blair - he's far more positive. Carlo and Gray too. But that leaves questions over who else plays and how we get anything like a consistent attacking threat.

Stevie needs to find his best starting 11. First half yesterday we were decent, other than the 2 mistakes. The ideal performance was probably first half v Stenny, but it has to be a bit concerning that we're into the 2nd weekend of September and I don't think we've had a 90 minute performance or really know our best starting 11.

No chance wallace is a bigger goal threat.  Wallace and byrne have both scored 5 goals for us.

Wallace has played 2127 minutes, byrne has played 1683 minutes.

Byrne gets himself into the box, Wallace comes deep and moans at others when he doesn't get the ball.
