  1. Over the years I’ve tossed him some money and even when he was pro SNP and fervently anti unionist.

I just loved his journalism where he would dig up and explore stories the MSM wouldn’t touch.

He has a nasty streak but the man has a fantastic talent.

Hes been proved correct on so many occasions.

The SNP cultists ignored and vilified him and are now paying the price.

This is the one that will damage the SNP, it's hard to see how we can continue to argue that we're morally superior to early 80s ScotLab.

    You’re actually correct.

The problem was all the SNP cultists on here were incapable of any original thoughts or ideas.

Whatever the leader and her coterie said was gospel.

Just look at the lengths people went to to support the GRR which was obviously nonsense.

It took people like Campbell and Alba supporters to expose the sheer cancer at the core.

Okay, I’m rejoicing but this is terrible for Scotland.

    Hi folks.

Anyone had recent experience of the passport/security controls in and out of Herakleion Airport? Any significant problems now that we're a "third country"?

In June we are heading to Crete for our first foreign holiday in ages. We'll book into the airport lounge for the return flight.  Any particular concerns or tips?

    Cheers.

Been to plenty of EU countries recently and absolutely no problems.

Entered Bordeaux on Sunday and complete disinterest with a quick stamp on the passport,

    Sorry to disappoint you.

Would be good to shake things up at the weekend against Clyde after the last few league games. Wouldn't be surprised to see Allan start given he'll have the added motivation of it being his old team.

    Kinnear
    Rowe Donaldson Mckay Mccann
    Henderson
    Morrison Max Kennedy
    Burrell Allan

Quite like that apart from Morrison and Kennedy. We tried that at Alloa and it didn’t work.

Id rather have Nesbitt in for Kennedy at the start.

There's no obligation for any Christian church to conduct gay marriages, what they shouldn't be doing is trying to deny the right of others to do so, as a professed libertarian I'm sure you agree.

    Absolutely.

The law allows gay marriage so end of story.

However, there is no need for people to agree with it, such as Christians of most denominations.

We live in a democracy where differing views are allowed.

I disagree with it as a non Christian but as someone who thinks it debases the definition of marriage which I believe is between a man and a woman and starts out with the prospect of children through natural means.
However, I would have no problem in attending a gay marriage ceremony.

I would imagine Kate Forbes will have similar views but from a Christian standpoint.

I went through a phase of getting the first BMI flight of the day from EDI to LHR on a Monday and often shared the forward seats with Alistair Darling and Tam 'Dyell'.

His craven 'Any chance' requests to share Darling's ministerial car from the airport would have embarrassed anyone, farless the scion of 'Tam o' the Binns'.

Tam was a real true gent. Remember asking him to speak at a Dinner and he held the audience spellbound with his stories of Gaddaffi and other world leaders of the time. Never a note. His biggest hate was Tony Blair.

Drove him back to the Binns where he gave me a personal conducted tour.

The term “running on empty” is certainly there within the article. Now, was it McGlynn’s words or the journo’s words?

It’s hard to say as grammatically the use of quotation marks are very inconsistent, but the OP of the phrase certainly didn’t make it up. There is mention of hamstring and knee, but clearly there is also “running on empty” in relation to McGinn as well as “leggy” in relation to the team.

    Great record from Jackson Browne.

Whoever ends up on FMQs next week will be shitting themselves if they've been watching Sturgeon's last session. Brutal stuff.

All they need do is give honest answers unlike NS’s delusional take on how wonderful everything is.

As we have seen with KF, being honest gets you a long, long, way.

The juxtaposition yesterday should not be lost. Whilst Johnson was trying and failing to justify his outrageous behaviour, Sturgeon was humbly apologising for forced adoptions.

Today sees Nicola's last First Minister's Questions and I wonder if Douglas Ross will find that charm gene he has been searching for for all of his political life.

People shouldn’t be apologising for things over which they had no control.

    Complete nonsense.

An utter fraud of a man. He should have been ran out of the country for his posturing, attention seeking nonsense which came out of every media device for about 18 months. Idiot.

Agreed, but most of our fellow countrymen, especially on here fell for it.

    Worrying.

  11. Interesting to see how correct Campbell of WOS has been regarding the SNP.

He’s banged on for years about the missing £600k with forensic analysis of their Accounts, he’s questioned the number of party members and he’s been on relentlessly about the shenanigans within the Sturgeon cabal.

I know he’s a bit iffy but his journalism is spot on.

Just a pity the Scottish media has been asleep at the wheel.

  12. Interesting that Leitch is now admitting that it ‘may’ have been wrong to shut schools and ruin education for children.

If he is using the word ‘may’ then the true word must be ‘was’.

He also states that he was merely the ‘mouthpiece’ for the SNP government and not a decision maker.

With the SNP in chaos he’s obviously getting his excuses in whilst he can.

Monkey Tennis aimlessly lashing out all over the shop. Sad to see.

He obviously didn’t believe in letting people think for themselves about lockdowns and masks. Sweden did and had about the same death rates as us but without ruining the economy, trashing the education system and turning normally sensible people into cringing wimps.

Looks like the deliverables are going to be coming from the right...

    About time too.

Forbes looks as if she has no time for all the socialist nonsense.

Scotland should be a place to which people with talent and aspiration are attracted.

We desperately need people who know how to build and create businesses and, as a consequence, make money.
