Just been told Pollok fans have a poll on FB wanting him back

Maybe the fact we are should be realisation enough for the fans , but more importantly the committees that the set up has changed dramatically in last few years with the introduction of WOSFL and if they don't change the budgets etc they will get left behind

Tucker should and wul get tae Christmas.
Cumnock is a big geme for obvious reasons but the pressure is oan this weekend. I think we beat Medda 5 times 2 year back. We canny afford tae fall to for behun. We’ve signed 4 o that team as well. Need a win.
Just about got the gist of that!
Massive game for both and the added interest with so many Meadow players going there in the last season.
I do have a gut feeling that Meadow will shade this one. Just based on the recent change in management which normally gives teams a lift, the recent good results and the recent poor form of Talbot .
I'm sure so many players leaving to go to Bot will also be a form of motivation for the meadow players also0 -

He's taken on some job there. Fair play to him. Wonder if anyone is shouting for him to get bagged
Yip Jim, the Guy is a born winner so got to be very tough on him, says everything about the calibre of him because most others would shy away from it, especially those who played at the very top for many years and won everything going

I maintain that Kevin Deeney has built the basis of a good squad and last two games prove they are good enough to more than compete at this level.
Big game next week which could see them open a wee gap with Talbot at the bottom.
I am confident they will climb up the league next few games0 -
Because the guy has been pretty flawless since taking over as manager and the first poor start to season in god knows how long fans want his head!
I can assure you this if Talbot don't burst their wage cap and budget then you could get in Jurgen Klopp and you'll still struggle.
The money has completely changed now and fair play to Talbot not going down the massive wages route but it will now come at a cost with so many mid table tables paying stupid money.
It's clear this was always going to be a transitional season and he has more than earned the right to be given time to turn the poor start round3 -

Tuckers time is up. Must be one of Talbots worst ever ever results.
After all he has done for the club surely he's deserves the right to rebuild the team and be afforded the time to do it??

There will be clubs who have big squads and even in same league won't see us as direct rivals and already defeated us like Pollok, Beith and Darvel who if they have unhappy squad players would perhaps rather loan to Meadow than likes of Clydebank or another team higher up the table. Will be an interesting few weeks to see what happens. Big game for us on Saturday and we done well last weekend so hopefully same again away from home.
The caveat to that is trying to persuade unhappy players to leave a club at the top of the table and go out on loan to the club sitting at the bottom!
I can assure it will not be easy, with everything that has been mentioned, for the new management team to add quality to the squad at this time, so many varying factors to contend with.1 -
Yes Jim, definitely been done in the past

I know mate, wasn't having a go, we are certainly not shy about going route one at times but over the years we've had some superb full backs that have made us tick. Pope was probably the last great one and is still sorely missed.
Brilliant player!

Totally agree, can't be letting players go without knowing definitely getting others in and can't get others in until wage bill reduced no doubt! Always a catch 22 at this time of year!
the other thing is players are under contract , they don't need to accept a release if they don't have another club to go to .... unless the club offer to pay up their wages for the season. Not that easy to trim the squad either. Thd club are lucky both McNair and Fyfe have accepted release so easy .1 -

Talbot have had lots of good overlapping fullbacks over the years. I'd say no successful Talbot side has been without at least one.
It was tongue in cheek Shanner!

Schoneville's strength is his overlapping runs from the left full back position. That's his game, he continually bombed forward for us. If you're looking for a left back to hold his position and not occasionally get caught out of position, then Scott is not that man, as his natural game is to push on and join the attacks.
He'll never fit in to the "lump it forward and batter defences "" style that Talbot play then!

You think? I genuinely think it's not a bad squad , just needs two or three quality additions in key positions... but that takes money which was no doubt the stumbling block for Kevin Deeney . The squad probably can't afford to lose anymore at present

Just seen a couple players have left the medda today. Think it was Fyfe and MacNair. Dont know if they were regular starters but it a hard time of season to look for starting 11 replacements
Also chat about Medda would be better on the medda thread than on this ridiculous one started by someone with a clear grudge against the club
