Not sure what the attendance was but it was more than decent.
Official number was about 1300, could’ve been a lot more though.

Any team with Bryan Wharton at the back deserves to be relegated. Terrorist.

I had a soft spot for Burgh over the years, but the whole announcing signings on the 12th july etc i think the west prem could do without that crap.
The whole idea that the signing of Kyle Lafferty was intentionally announced on the 12th of July is a complete conspiracy, get over it!

Burgh have put Cammy Crooks up for transfer.
Strange timing as he’s been playing regularly and is a good player.
Some amount of player turnover.
Outstanding last season, and had a very good start to the season, but since then has been poor. Great guy and very good player who always gives 110% and unfortunately there are very few of them in this Burgh squad.

Great win for Kilbirnie today, two players off injured in the first 20 mins looked like a disaster waiting to happen. Good goal from Wilson. Kilbirnie’s front 3 were excellent and pressed really well to leave the Johnstone CB on the ball with limited options. Johnstone did dominate possession but never created much of note, that being said Johnstones no 6 is a smashing player. Another good watch today.
Malky McDonald’s been one of our best players this season, easy. Been with us for a years and has really been outstanding this season, incredibly consistent and one of first names on team sheet week in week out. Well done Kilbirnie, deserved win.

Some good boys in that team but the lack of proper coaching is seeing them being beaten far too easily. The manager stood like a lump of wood yesterday as his so called tactics were ripped apart in the first ten minutes. After the first goal he should have seen where the danger was going to come from and acted accordingly . The shape of the team was non existent. Is the manager up to the job ? Well he signed Bryan Wharton to sort out defensive frailties. Need i say more ?
Fraud. Best thing Arthurlie’s ever done is take him off our hands, thank you.

Ryan Wallace transfer listed by the Burgh. Not a clue what’s happened there, absolutely crazy call to let this guy go. Best left back in the west, easy.

Is the boy Shaun Rogers still on the transfer list?
I believe so, haven’t heard that he’s got a new team.

Bryan not getting a chance strange situation
He had plenty chances at the Burgh, he didn’t perform in many chances he was given. Although I think he’s been injured the last few weeks.

Bryan Wharton has been transfer listed
Guys a dud. Wish him well, but my god he was awful in the few games he’s played.

Game at Keanie Park abandoned due to an awful ankle break to Kilbirnie Ladeside’s Jack Wilson. Hope for a speedy recovery for the guy.

I was there. Would-be professionals against has-been fatties and the fatties won. Looked like Burgh players had been on the bevvy last night. Midfield distribution was awful. Maybole keeper didn't have much to do. But credit to Maybole. They got men behind the ball and counterattacked well.
Absolutely no identity in this team. We don’t press, we just let teams play against us. When we win the ball back we want to give teams all the time they need to set back up. So slow, can’t play out from the back, dreadful to watch. Dorrans non existent week after week. Very worrying times.

Wtf happened to Cambuslang!? 2-1 up with 15 mins to go & beat 5-2
Camby keeper had an absolute mare. Went 2-2 after a penalty in the 75th minute, our third and fourth were comical from their keeper. Goals will be up on the Burgh’s social media sites shortly if you want a laugh. Got to feel for the boy.

Burgh 1-0 Blantyre Vics
Not by any means the best performance but really great to see the improvement to the defence with the introduction of Naismith, which in recent weeks has been an absolute shambles. Were without Esplin, Menzies, Lafferty, McKinlay and a few others today.

The whole signing policy is curious. After watching Johnstone a couple times last season, i reckon 4 or 5 quality signings added to what you had would’ve saw you promoted comfortably
100%. Spot on.

Peasy 3-2 Burgh
Really bad, so boring to watch. No changes in the way we tried to play from game vs Shotts. Medda seem to be shipping goals, more than welcome to have Bryan Wharton back lads.

I certainly didn't see him about.
He was there for most of the game, saw him at the start of the game and the end of the game but wasn’t out for some parts of the match.
Must’ve been watching the Rangers game in the bar!

Too many opinions after todays game, one thing I will say is Jamie McKim is a very good manager and is more than capable of holding his own and meeting targets for the season.

Burgh 2-3 Shotts.
Look forward to your replies, Shotts deserved it. Embarrassment of a performance.

Candy very likely to go down in my eyes. Thought they looked alright in pre season, going off their results, but what does pre season matter?

As far as I’m aware he began as manager last season, which was Thorn’s first season in the WOSFL. Got the Thorn playing very good football!
