Scottish Cup Draws
CountyinBorders replied to Eadie is God's topic in West of Scotland Football League
I mind looking out from the old house on the moray firth coast looking onto the sutherland coast and seeing wee red sparks go up from the fireworks. Listening on it to the radio and it was one of those that if you hadn't heard it you would never have believed it, for me it was more of a shock than the Darvel match. It almost seemed inevitable that Darvel would win what with everything happening at Aberdeen at that time. -

So would this be something that City fans would be in favour of in principle (obviously further discussions between clubs about usage, priority, upkeep etc would need to be had) if it means that you get out of Meadowbank. I would imagine that having your own stadium would be choice number one but does seem unlikely at this point. -

Oh Bloody hell. The only other place I've just thought of is East Peffermill but that would need a massive amount of work to get to league standard. It is only the Uni that play there isn't it -

Aye right enough would be a fair logistical nightmare, and not much chance of encouraging either team to play on a friday or sunday regularly to free up a saturday afternoon. Also, didn't realise heriots was open. Aye they play on Saturdays. What about Edinburgh United at Paties Park 200 seat stand with room to add smaller stands to make it up to 500. Again, pitch would have to be in decent shape to keep up with the use. Maybe a fence around prerimeter and wall around pitch but other than floodlights would those changes should be enough to meet licensing? -

So what does that mean are you going on the move?. I don't think there is really anywhere existing that would meet your needs short of sharing with an existing league team or maybe at one of the better rugby grounds, Boroughmuir, Heriots, Watsonians, Academicals all have large stands and good capacities but usage may be an issue with all but Boroughmuir. Have the financial issues from last season sorted themselves enough to part fund a new park? Or are they maybe thinking of working with the cooncil to tart Meadowbank up a bit? -
If they put on a cat sized blue Dickies boiler suit they wouldn't be far off.

Why do cats never look like Monty or Patton?

So I've scored 0 and I'm quite concerned.

What were you doing in Gordonstoun at that time, a wee visit to the senior year female dormitory? -
https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/inverness-caledonian-thistle/6596639/ketan-makwana-back-caley-thistle-frame/ Is Morrison actually trying to make the Club go under, why is he putting a man who demonstrably had not funds available of any kind a month ago back in touch with the club. It's not like he's going to have phygitally created a new full bank account. Or is he going to ask someone else for money?

I am not a big Tolkein buff I have a very basic knowledge although it does reach into some of the deeper lore. Even I know that what was a very well thought out, crafted world by a very talented man has been taken by presumably a typing pool of chimps and has been absolutely murdered. You would have thought that after the Star Wars debacle writers would have learnt that shoehorning in old characters and the "Ooh this sword is called this wink wink nudge nudge" trope is absolutely pish and does away with any creativity or mystery and is so ham handedly done that it leaves a new viewer who may not have seen LotR being confused or not understanding what this means. There are three really good story lines in the 2 series so far, Celebrimbor and the creation of the rings, Numenor, and Moria. If they had just concentrated on these storylines and got rid of the excess crap, it would have been a right good series. There would have been 4 good story lines if they had the two wizards in Rhun being blue wizards, but they've even managed to f**k that up. Spectacly these two series are really good very good visuals and some decent acting from a few folk every now and then, really enjoyed the Sauron-Galadriel fight, actually felt like two peole having a right go at each other. I could go on even more but I've already bored myself with what I've written so god knows what it's done to you lot.
