Are you on crack?
No but were supposed to one Union. It would give Scottish clubs more money. From Fans, Sponsors and TV. Think about it
Hearts VS Newcastle or Liverpool
Aberdeen VS Manchester City
Raith Rovers VS Hull City
The rival between English and Scottish fans-Battle of Britain week in and week out.

Scottish/Welsh/Irish football is fallen further behind its English counterparts both premier and Championship. So the big question is it time for a major reorganisation and included every club in the UK into league. With smaller clubs in regional leagues to save costs on travel.
Example
Take the top 7 English and Top seven clubs in Scotland and form Super League 1 with two clubs from N.Ireland and wales each. Then do the same below and so on. With One team relegated from the Super League(Lets call it for namesake). And one team promoted from the Premier League. Three teams relegated from the Premier League to Championship/League 1 etc

Surely if all the Scottish clubs are in, along with the top four Welsh teams then it’s not “England “ anymore but Britain.
It does seem silly that we’re all one country but play separate competitions. One island nation, one league, simple.
Agree the only problem I would see is cost of travel for club and supporters. Lets say Albion Rovers, Ayr United have to travel to Plymouth etc.

Let's play fantasy for a minute. How well do you think the top 12 clubs would do in England and the other 30 clubs?. I can see Rangers and Celtic mid table and in few years. These would be challenge for top four spot but how about the rest .
The Edinburgh and Dundee clubs could also be challenging especially as they might get the investment needed.

We live in era where the clubs have huge squads and youth teams. But when the International matches comes. The domestic games stops and shuts down. Why not carry on and replace those on International duty with Youth and Reserves.

Have you seen the "summer" this year?
Strange the Irish Republic does not have problems with playing in the summer

Instead of the pre winter shutdown cram, cram them into summer.
Start the season earlier, more viewership (less competition), more funds and more competitive players come tournaments.
It's all pretty good on paper.
Exactly finish the season in December but start in June with an August Break.

Let's face reality that clubs outside the top five leagues are never going to win a European Trophy. UEFA does not care about clubs outside the top five. Be honest with ourselves. When the Big five demand UEFA jumps. We all saw that with the recent European Super League. Yes their was a outcry and they backed down for now.
However what did UEFA respond with but yes you guessed a revamped Champions League which caters to the big leagues. No one else mattered and they been doing that since 1996 when they first expanded the Champions League.
So its now to say Bye UEFA and create Competitions that cater for everyone. A proper Champions League for Champions not one that where you finish second, Third or forth.

Problems are down to Youth. You cannot compete money wise. But why are your clubs not investing in Youth? Look at the Netherlands they invest in Youth and talent comes amasse. Scotland can do the same.
Secondly its time to overhaul the scouting why are Scottish clubs trying to compete with the Big nations for players. Look to South America nations like Peru, Chile, Ecuador you get my meaning.
Countries in Asia like Vietnam, Thailand etc should be scouted.

The recent embarrassment of Rangers, Hibs, Aberdeen and even Celtic. yes Celtic are in the Group stages but they end up being thrashed. The Irish Republic realised that they could not compete with the English Premier League in terms of TV. So they moved their league to summer not only for better pitches but many people watch. They also gained more sponsorships through the media
Scotland now needs to do the same. You are never going to compete with England. The second reform Scotland has to do is move to a 16 or even 18 club league. An example the top 8 play for Europe and champions while the bottom 8 play against each other for with four relegation spots.
Relegation from the Championship exists but only if the winners of the Regional Leagues meet the requirements.

Scottish Premier League of 16 professional clubs.
Clubs who finish 1 to 6 play off the championship and European places
Clubs 7-10 play off against each other with the winner facing the team finishing firth
clubs facing 11-16 Relegation League. Bottom two Relegated. The club placed 14th play off against the winner of the Championship play offs.
Scottish Championship of 18 of professional Clubs
Top two automatically promoted.
Teams finishing third to eight enter play offs with the 14th team from the Premier League who enters semi final.
League one and two 14 Semi professional clubs
Winner is promoted subject to meeting requirements
Bottom two relegated to league two. Bottom team in league two relegated
National Leagues of 14 clubs- Amatuer
A, B,C,D each winner plays against each other to go up-subject to requirements.
Financial Distribution
TV money, Gates money etc. shared equally amongst clubs

Yes you use it as springboard for future British League. Gauge the interest from media, Sponsors and Fans.
Example take English Championship and Scottish Championship downwards. Adding the English Premier League would be unfair as their Counterparts cannot compete now.
